Chapter Ten: Beach

I had the same wolf dream, but when I fall in the water I come back out as the wolf. There are vampires all around the place and we're all fighting. It's werewolf's against vampires and the werewolf's are losing. A vampire attacks me and bites my neck. I wake up and I'm screaming, I'm  shaking and sweating in fear. I look at the clock and it's two in the morning. I get out of bed and drag my legs to the bathroom and I throw water over my face. I take deep breaths in and out. I look at myself in the mirror and for a second I swear my eyes were glowing green. I blink twice and rub my eyes. I look in the mirror again and there gone. I dawdle back to my bedroom and try to sleep again. After about ten minutes of rolling around I went to sleep.

I was walking out my door when I crashed into a figure. I stumble back a bit but kept my balance. I look at who's laughing at me and sure enough it's Damon. I give him a death stare for making me almost fall then laughing about it.
"Watch where your going" He says then laughs again.
"Why are you even at my door?"
He steadies his breathing then smiles at me. "To walk with you... that's if you won't fall over." Then he starts laughing again. I roll my eyes then push him out my way so I can start walking to school. He follows behind me and he has stopped laughing now.
"You, Ashlee, Jordon and I are going to beach after school" I tell Damon.
"Why...they're annoying"
I slap his arm and then he rubs it like it hurt.
"Hangout with me then" I suggest.
"No way I don't wanna be a third wheel" he says with a disgusted look.
"Well then get to know them and you will see that they're not annoying" I say stopping in front of him.
"Gorgeous, can I bring one of my friends?" He ask. I have never thought of that. I knew he had friends but, I never thought about hanging with them. It was only fair, I guess.
"Fine but I want to meet them today, just in case"
"Fine but they are also a werewolf like me"
"They know we all know?"
"Yup" He says, popping the "p".

For lunch we all sat down and were talking until this cute, sweet looking boy walks up to our table.
"Ryan, my main man!" Says Damon getting up and fist pumping him.
"Hey I'm Ryan, Damon's best friend!" He says waving. He looks around the table waiting for people to introduce themselves.
"Hey, nice to met you!" I say since no else was talking. "I'm Joyce!" I got up and shook his hand.
"I'm Ashlee, feel free to call me Ash" she says not able to look at him.
"Jordon, Joyce's boyfriend" Jordon says and yes I did blush at those words.
"Nice, love the names!" He says. I think I like him already. "I'm tagging along to the beach, so I was thinking let's hang now so it's not awkward" he looks around the table and noticed that Jordon won't look at him and Ashlee is super red, I think she has a crush!
"It's fine, it won't be awkward soon" I said, reassuring him. He nods and gives me a face that shows he doubts it.

After school I got home and put on a blue and white bikini and let my hair down. God I love my hair so much! I might sound girly but trust me, I ain't. I just love my hair, it's my favorite thing about me!
Beep beep
It was Damon honking his horn letting me know it's time to come down. I throw on a big jacket that is not too big but oversize so it covers just below my butt. I leave it unzipped then go down stairs. I walk out and jump in his car and sit in the front.
"Don't you think Ryan should sit there?" Damon says. I give him a mean glare since he doesn't want me to sit next to him."I mean since you would want to sit next to Jordon and Ryan doesn't really know anyone but me really"
"Look! If I sit here then you won't feel like a third wheel and Ryan can get closer to the others, especially Ash!" I explain.
"You saw her blush too" He ask with a smile, probably thinking of how cute they would be together. I nod in response and he starts the car up.

We have been to everyone's house and now on are way to the beach. My plan worked perfectly Ryan bonded with Ashlee so much, I just want to marry them right here right now! Jordon and I have been texting most the ride but now and then I would talk to whoever looks bored.
We arrive at the beach and it doesn't look to crowed which is perfect. I hop out and Jordon puts his arm around my waist and pulls me in close. He pops a kiss on my forehead and then we all walk as a group down to beach. Me and Jordon are still side by side with our arms around each other's waist. We set camp at the top of the beach.
"Last one there is a rotten egg!" Shouts Ryan. We all race to the water and Ashlee came last. We splash her with water and tease her.
"Hey" says Jordon softy and quietly in my ear but I wasn't focused so I jumped. I look behind me and he's so close that I get goosebumps.
"Jeez I wasn't ready for that" I say and he just softly giggles.
He pulls me in closer by rapping his arms around my waist. He brings me so close so there's no gap in between us. He tucks my hair behind my ear and then brushes his thump over lips. He slowly leans in and plants a long gentle kiss. He looks at me then I put my hands through his blonde hair and kiss him. We kiss softly but with so much passion that it's addicting. We stop for quick breath then kiss again. My heart is pounding so hard I can't hear anything but it. I move my fingers in his hair which makes it messy and his arms are still around my waist. He slowly pulls away and instantly I miss his lips on mine.
"Come one, lets go play truth and dare with the others" as he says that his head nods towards a group on the sand talking.
"Okay" I say and like that he lets go of me and I miss his body heat. He grabs my hand and leads me to the group.
"Wanna play truth or dare?" Ryan ask.
"Sure" I reply and we sit down in the group circle.
"Truth or dare Gorgeous" Ask Damon with a evil smirk on. As Damon said gorgeous I felt Jordon tense beside me. I put my hand on his to calm him.
"Dare" I say.
"Okay...I dare you to steal a coke from those people for me!" She says pointing to a old couple who have fallen asleep. I get up and slowly make my way there. I carefully lean over and take one then run back to Damon.
"Here is your stupid coke!" I say presenting him a nice cold coke.
"Thanks" He takes it from me then takes a sip while I sit down in Jordon's lap. He raps his arms around me and I love his body heat. I blush slightly then I remember that's it's my turn now.
"Truth or dare.. Ryan?"
"Truth"
"Are you a player?"
"Nope when I date a girl it's because I have fallen for them." I smile at his reply.
"Good, you and I are gonna be best friends!" I say wth confidence.
"I thought I was!" Whines Ash.
"Your my girl bestie. He will be my guy bestie!" I explain and they both smile.
"Truth or dare Ash"
"Me...err...umm...truth"
"Who do you have a crush on?" He ask.
"I umm...no one..." she says but no one buys it.
"Ash as your bestie, I have to tell the whole group that your lying"
She rolls her eyes at me then blushes at the group.
"Fine...I will only tell Joy!" I stand up and walk off with her. When we're far away enough, she starts to blush.
"I was gonna tell you at our sleepover afterwards that's why I wanted one!" Wait she didn't know Ryan then or did she? "I have a crush on...Damon" she starts to turn as red as tomato and looks away so I don't notice but I notice.
No way! Since when...

Damon's POV
While the girls were gone us boys had one of those dude chats.
"Joyce looks nice today" says Ryan. I laugh because I know what he's doing.
"Dude! That's my girlfriend!" Ryan looks at him and rolls his eyes.
"Dude! That's my girlfriend!" I mimic him but with a super high pitch girly voice.
"Your so immature! Why is Joy even friends with you!" He says getting all grumpy.
"We'll see gorgeous, sees the good in me and thinks I'm very mature." I say and I make sure to call hear gorgeous. Well she is! She so beautiful with hair long straight hair that flows in the air and hair body is fit and skinny but she also gorgeous on the inside. She's kind sweet generous and the list goes on and on.
"I would appreciate it if you stop calling my girlfriend gorgeous!" He says still angry at me.
"Calm down it's just a pet name, what do you call her?" I ask knowing he doesn't have one for her. I love triggering guys who over protective of there girl. Plus if all goes well they will fight and hopefully brake up.
So you could date her!
No brain so shes not with a dead on the inside, blood sucking, golden boy who doesn't treat her right. Anyway we're just friends.
"I call her Joy or just Joyce since she's not really into pet names" he says acting like he knows her best.
Wrong!

The girls are walking back now and Ashlee looks super embarrassed from how red she is blushing and Joyce looks...worried. No. Angry. No. She looks...jealous?
Does Ashlee like Jordon!
"Hey Damon can we talk?" She says while towering me since I'm sitting down.
"Sure, gorgeous!" I say and when I get up I'm now towering her. We walk to the canteen and lean on the side of the little shack.
"You okay?" I ask since she seems angry.
"I'm fine,"
"I know your lying"
"Hey! You did the same thing yesterday" she says.
"Joyce!" I grab her by her arms and make her look me in the eyes. "What's wrong?" I say softly.
"Damon, I can't tell you since I promised but I do want to talk to you when there's not a possibility that people can hear us" I nod towards the others.
"You know vamps and wolfs can both hear from miles away. They also have super speed and fast reflexes. We have super strength and heal really quick."
"Jeez that's a lot"
"wolfs can also transform fully into a wolf or just parts of them like claw, ears, teeth or eyes."
She looks so amazed by what I told her. She so sweet, too sweet too innocent. She shouldn't be dragged in this messed up world! She could get hurt and I care for her too much to let it happen.
"Damon you really shouldn't rev Jordon on about us being close." She says crossing her arms over her chest. I look at her chest then quickly look at her eyes again since, I'm confused on how she heard us.
"How do you hear that? You were so far away?"
"Well you were really loud!"
"Oh sorry, didn't notice at all" I haven't at all, I didn't think Jordon was yelling that loud when he was angry.
"All good" she smiles and we start to walk back to the group. I watch her walk away and check out how good she looks in a bikini.

Joyce's POV
Damon dropped of Ryan first then Jordon and then he pulled up at his house. Ash was sleeping over so she got out with me and Damon helped us carry her bags to my room. We said are good byes then he left.
Now it's slumber party time!!
