I stood in front of the ship, looking up at it. It was finally finished. I've been inside a couple time and have been setting up my room. Leo and I have decided to add a small door inside the closet, so when I go into the closet, it looks like a regular closet. The door was hidden behind a rack of clothing. My room was the size of the rest of the rooms, but it was hidden and no one knew about it. It was great.

We weren't going to tell Jason because he was being rude. To him, I was living in a closet space. Leo even kept the original blueprint to fool Jason. It was my idea, though.

Only Jason and Leo knew I was going. We wanted to keep it on the down low. My griffen, Sasha, was going to be coming as well. She was going to be staying in the stables with a magic veil over her so no one knew she was there. Hopefully, no one would go to the stables that much.

I sat in my room in the Hecate cabin, packing. I couldn't tell my siblings about this. They couldn't know I was leaving, although they would definitely notice I was gone. I didn't know how to tell them I was leaving. They needed me.

I stopped, sighing. I ran my hands through my hair. My long puffy hair was tough to brush out or straighten, so I left it be most the time.

Packing sucked because I had a lot of clothes and a lot of cloaks I could bring. I could only bring the things in my duffle bags and backpacks. I had two backpacks and two duffle bags. I could fit quite a lot in them. I had learned a trick on packing, so I could fit more clothes inside.

I grabbed a bunch of shirts and shoved them in a duffle bag. I grabbed an arm full of shorts and shoved them into the same bag.

I grabbed a few dresses from one of my closets and threw them into the other duffle bag. I grabbed a few cloaks and capes and threw them into the same bag. Most of my packing was finished, though I needed a few more things.

I threw myself onto the bed and huffed. I was tired. I had another session with my mother this morning and it was hard. She trained me harder than any other session after I told her I was going on the quest. She said that this quest had to do with my destiny or something.

I held up my hands and made a mirror of some sort. It showed my father sitting on the couch. I did this trick to check in on him.

From the noises in the room, it seemed he was watching tv. He looked the same as the last time I saw him, although he had grey hair in both his hair and beard. His skin was dark - just like mine - and we had the same eyes.

I missed my father so much. I hadn't seen him since I was four years old. The last memory I had of my dad was him leaving me at the entrance of the forest. He didn't want to leave me, but he had to. He couldn't have a demi-kid as strong as me sitting around his house.

The mirror disappeared. I blinked my eyes to clear them. I sat there on my bed in thought, losing track of time. I came to my senses when I heard a knock on my window.

I jumped to my feet and opened the window. Leo stood there.

"Are you ready?"

I nodded and grabbed my bags. I handed the backpacks to Leo. I grabbed the duffle bags and hopped out of the window. Leo and I walked across the camp, trying to as silent as possible. We made it to the boat and got on. We made it to the little closet and went through the little door. There was already a bed, which was a circular bed hanging from the roof.

It was a great layout, to be honest. I dumped the bags on the floor. Leo and I left the room, making sure to hide the door before leaving. We split as soon as we got back to the camp.

I strolled through the dark, empty camp. It was so quiet and peaceful. There weren't any campers running around and it wasn't funny. I loved being out late. I just had to sneak past harpies. They were brutal at night.

I walked over to my window. Before I looked up at the sky. It was beautiful. There were so many stars out tonight. It was beautiful out tonight.

I sighed. I loved the stars. They were so quiet and they listened. They've seen so many things. They were the silent watchers of the world.

I slid open the window and climbed in. I got in bed and just laid there. I was lost in thought and memories for what seemed like hours before I fell asleep. I woke to someone shaking me. It was Piper.

"Wake up, Ezzy," Piper said. "It's time to go."

I groaned. "I'm coming, I'm coming. You don't need to lose your marbles."

I sat up and got out of bed. Piper stood in front of me. She was already dressed in a cute navy blue tank top with, a yellow and blue plaid over shirt, and jeans. She had her hair in a cute bun.

"We're meeting outside the Big House, okay?" Piper said.

"Yeah, cool. See you," I said, waving her off.

Piper left out the window. I got dressed in a galaxy print skirt with shoulder straps. With that, I wore a tight fitting crop top. I pulled on a pair of black Chuck Taylors and looked in my full body mirror. I looked great.

I ran a hand through my hair and turned around. I tossed a letter on my bed for my siblings. I grabbed a message bag and climbed out the window. I closed the window behind me. I ran for the Big House, passing multiple campers. I made it there in no time and joined the other kids. Chiron stood there in horse form. He nodded to me and continued talking.

"You are going to go to California and find two more people to join you," Chiron said. "Please, don't die. The world depends on you."

"Yes, sir," Everyone responded.

"You're dismissed."

We all left the porch and headed for the Argo II. I stayed silent on the walk. Soon, Annabeth dropped back to join me.

"How are you, Ezzy?" Annabeth asked. "I haven't talked to you in a while."

"I'm pretty good. And you?" I asked.

"I'm doing well. Are you joining us?" Annabeth asked.

I gave a small nod. "Just don't tell anyone. Only Leo and Jason knows and we can't tell anyone."

"Don't you hate Jason?" Annabeth asked in a whisper.

"Yeah," I whispered. "He was reluctant to let me come, but it was either I go or I follow and join later."

"Annabeth, can you come here?" Jason asked.

Annabeth looked at me and rolled her eyes before joining Jason. I slowed down to not raise suspicion. When all other kids got on the boat, I covered myself in Mist and got on as well. I went to the little closet and got in my room.

I climbed on my bed and laid there as it swung around. Today was going to be an exciting day.
