Chapter 12 🌙

"Give Gaara back!" I hear Naruto yell as I approach the scene while standing on my dragon made out of crystal.

"Oh? Seems like you really are Shinji un's sister." Deidara smirks, ignoring Naruto's protests and eyeing the dragon. How much clarification does he even need?

I glare at Deidara before Naruto lunges towards the Akatsuki member, easily being dodged. "Release!" I yell before jumping up and watching as my dragon blows up, releasing a beautiful shimmer in the air.

I smoothly land in between Kakashi sensei and Naruto. Deidara smirks as he looks at something behind us. "It seems like they've begun." I look back with furrowed brows, realizing that Sakura already started the battle with the puppet master.

"Is that little girl and old hag really up to the task of taking on my man sasori?" Deidara rhetorically asks. I observe as Deidara throws a little clay bird in our direction which expands in size mid flight. All three of us jump out of the way and I watch as Kakashi sensei throws a series of Kunai at the strange clay contraptions.

The kunai don't really affect the bird, but when Deidara holds up his hand and makes a sign, the bird blows up in a ginormous explosion. Hm, so this is what Shinji was talking about. Shinji has let me know quite a bit about his teammates leading to my bare knowledge of them.

He told me that one of the members in his organization were very intelligent and powerful using explosives and long range as a fighting tactic, also noting that he's pretty crazy as well. I suppose Deidara is that certain member.

Wood emerges from the podium I'm standing on and luckily blocks me from the impact of one of Deidara's clay bombs.

I sigh and rub my temples, this is gonna be a loong battle.

••mini time skip••

"Get back here you little shit!" I yell as I run after Deidara. He managed to lure me away from Kakashi sensei and Naruto, which is a huge problem! Dammit, I'm supposed to be helping Naruto but I have to deal with this psycho first!

I make a series of hand signs and frown as I see Deidara run farther and farther "Wood Style: Great forest technique!" I yell.

By using my kekkei genkai this jutsu allows both of my arms to turn  turn into trees and lengthen at a high speed, catching up to deidara in an instant. I successfully end up capturing him between all the sharp spear like piercing branches that I created in order to stall him.

I then run up to him and click my tongue when I see that he's a clay clone. May Kami give me patience. I don't think I've ever gone up against a more annoying opponent in my life!

I kneel down to the floor, annoyed with this turn of events, and search for my team's chakra presences. My eyes widen when I feel Naruto's raging chakra, what the hell is going on?! I run over in the direction that I feel my sensei and Naruto's chakra. Now I'm not saying that it was easy, but I somehow managed to kill the clone while still following Naruto.

Now after a whole lot of yelling, chasing, searching for my teammates, near death experiences on everyone's part, and loss of an arm on deidara's part, we end up here.

"I can't believe you actually sent his arm to another dimension." I breath out before spitting some blood off to the side. "I should've gotten more than just the arm." Kakashi responds.

"You have to be more careful with that sharingan." I say as I kneel down to Kakashi sensei's position.

"Kakashi sensei, are you Alright?!" Naruto asks as he appears besides us. "Yeah, somehow." He breathily responds. The three of us look over to Naruto's shadow clones not far from us and watch as they try peeling open the clay birds head in hopes to get Gaara out.
