Levi... I um, I have something to tell you...

Okay, go on.

I'm pregnant...

(Levi's POV)

Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe ou- ouch.

My chest felt like a rock was rolling all around it. I awoken from my deep sleep to find Eren not by my side but instead his little feet were in my face.

"Hey, brat. You're making it hard for me to breathe."

He giggled and turned to face me, his little hands supporting his body while he made weird baby noises.

"How much do you weigh now, one-hundred pounds? You're way to heavy for a two year old." I playfully pushed him off of me and he rolled back onto the mattress laughing. I took Eren off of the bed and placed him onto the floor to crawl around. There was nothing dangerous around so he would be fine.

The bed was a mess so of course it had to be spread. First, I laid out the white duvet across the mattress, then the grey comforter, followed by two pillows and four smaller pillows, all matching the comforter, that were used to keep Eren from tumbling onto the hard floor. Then I folded up a blanket which was given to me from my mother long ago, it's the only thing that I was able to keep in memory of her. Eren loved it, but he is a messy little brat and I refuse to let him get it dirty. The delicate pastel fabrics sewn together would easily be ruined if it came into contact with a washing machine or a dryer. Hand washing it would probably be dangerous too.

My foot suddenly felt like it was supporting more weight that it should. I looked down to see my two year old who had placed himself onto my feet, staring up it me with his emerald eyes, all while gnawing on his digits.

"Kid, I already said you weigh a ton." I picked him up, placing him onto my side.

He took his hand out of his mouth and put it right in front of my weary eyes.

"You're so lucky that these are my germs..." I rolled my eyes and he giggled in response. His messy nature was definitely not one of my genes but I did understand that he's still a baby so I gave him the exception.

Despite being through hell and back, Eren always made me happy. Regardless of the situation he's always smiling, always laughing, and he shows me that there is hope to my shitty life. For him, I will work harder, I will give him the perfect life because he deserves it more than any child in this world.

I carried him out to the main room and placed him into his high chair. "What do you wanna eat today?" He only smiled in response. I smiled back and went into the kitchen. I should probably stop at the food bank today, it's the end of the month so I have to get rid of these bills before I buy anything else...

The fridge was the first thing that was opened, and to my surprise I found a lot of food in it along with a note. Strange... I picked up the note.

Hey shorty!  I wanted to surprise you before leaving for England. I know times are tough, but like I said, you will get through it. I just brought some food I had from my house, and don't worry I didn't poison them to test out my latest experiments. (But lemme know if you'd wanna do that one day) >:) But in all seriousness, I didn't want to let any of this spoil and also, Erwin had been inviting me out to his place often so I never had the chance to open majority of this stuff. Oh! I did buy few things for Eren too, check the cupboards! Any who, the list of things I bought are on the back, if you don't wanna eat everything I understand but at least don't leave it all to spoil please and thanks, I spent over $100 on groceries a few days ago. So like I said, none of this stuff is old, I didn't open anything and if I opened it it's probably the fruits... hmm, thats about it. Any whoooo..... farewell shorty! I'll be back in a few months. When I return, I'll be a new woman and you can thank me then, don't worry about it for now! :)                                                                                  Sincerely your dearest friend, Hanji - soon to be... Smith ;)
