(Your POV)

The summer had come to an end, and I was quite sad about that. On the bright side, a new chapter of my life was starting. University.

Dad was packing up my dorm furniture in my car while I was searching up the directions to the campus.

"Alright, that's the last of your stuff. Excited?" Dad asks, locking the trunk.

"Uh, nervous and excited."

"You'll be fine." He smiles, rubbing my shoulder.

Then my mom comes out the house looking teary eyed, "So, you're ready to leave us?"

"Mom, don't cry. I'm not too far."

"Oh I know." She sighs, "Just make sure to call us every night."

"Yes, mom."

"Don't do drugs."

"I know."

"No partying when you have school work."

"I know."

"Absolutely no boys in the dorm."

"Mom, I know. I'll be fine."

She sniffles, "I-I know you will... Just, stay safe. Please. Make smart decisions, okay?"

"Yes, mom."

She opens her arms wide, "Come on, give me a hug."

I gladly welcome her hug and she kisses my cheek before letting go.

"I love you, sweetie."

"I love you too, Mom."

Dad pulls me in for a hug as well and kisses my forehead.

"You got this." He pats my head, "Love you, kid."

"Love you too, Dad." I replied while getting into my packed vehicle. I start the engine, strap on my seatbelt and begin backing out.

My parents wave to me as I drive away and I honk the horn as a final goodbye before I see them again. I look in my rearview mirror to see my mom rest her head on my dad's shoulder.

I'll be fine, Mom. That's a promise.

I stand in front of Levi's door. Of course I had to visit him before I went away.

He opened it, and I laughed at his choice of fashion: A feather duster, a Windex spray bottle attached to his belt and some kind of fabric covering his mouth.

"Hey, Mr. Clean."

"Mr. Clean?" He asks, moving the facemask away from his mouth.

"Yeah." I laugh.

"Very funny, (y/n)." He sarcastically says.

"Oh come on, it was kind of funny."

"No, not really."

"Whatever, Mr. Lack of Humour." I roll my eyes playfully.

He lightly chuckles, "Anyway, what brings you here?"

"I'm going away, remember."

"What?"

"University, I'm heading up to my dorm right now."

"O-oh. So why'd you stop here?"

"To say goodbye, silly. I can't just up and disappear on you guys like that."

He didn't respond.

"Come on Levi, why do you seem so unenthusiastic to see me?"

"I um..." He hesitates, "Ugh, hell. I hate this lovey-dovey crap, but... I guess, Eren's gonna miss you." He played it off.
