Miranda's pov
"I'm so sorry." He shakily says, worried. "I'm not mad at you, Jason." I say gently touching his cheek. "I.... B-But I hurt you." He whimpers. He shakily touches the cut above my eye. "It wasn't your fault." "I still did it. I hurt you.. and almost h-hurt Mike. I hate PTSD." "Don't we all." I say hugging him. The doctor walks in. "As you probably know, there isn't much you can do to fix PTSD. But what I can do, is give you sedatives if he goes into an episode again." "Stop talking as if I'm not here." He grumbled, clenching his fists. "Relax." I say, touching his tense hand. He sighs. "Sorry babe." I hug him sideways. "What about the weird headaches he's been having?" "They're just chronic. Take some advil and you should be fine." He says, handing me Jason's prescription. "I don't know if advil will do anything. When these headaches comes on, it feels like a jackhammer!" "Well try it and if it doesn't work, come back, and we'll try something else." I nod and we head home. "I love you Miranda and I'm so sorry." "Stop apologizing. I'm not mad at you." I say. He sighs, staring at me sad and worried. "I'm just.... Scared.. Scared I'll hurt you." I hug him. "Don't worry Jase. We're strong enough to make it through this battle." He smiles tiredly and kisses my forehead. "Well let's hit the sack."
