Eight years ago, i was 14 laying out on the hospital bed. The pain was excruciating and my little body was being damaged. I had been told, "Your child is too small." "Shes going to die" "Your not strong enough" But once she came out, she was healthy and breathing on her own." I said speaking to Gia.
"7 Years ago, i was in the damn bathroom thinking i had to shit. I gave birth to her by myself in the tub." She said laughing.
"Really Gia?" I asked dying laughing.
I heard a loud bang on the door and it caught us by surprise. I looked out the window and it was a trunk full of presents.
"Nylaaaaa and Kaiiiiiiii." I screamed.
Her and Kai came downstairs rubbing there eyes, they both stayed up all damn night.
Jordan opened the door and explained to them how there gifts were set up.
"Baby, your gifts are wrapped in pink. And Kai your gifts are wrapped in Purple from your dad, some from me."
They both ran to the truck and started grabbing gifts.
"You didn't have to get her anything you know?" Gia told him.
"It's both they're birthdays so If Nyla got it, yours got it too." He said side hugging her.
"Well, let's get ready for this pink party. Cause she will get an attitude with me if i don't move fast enough."
"Can my uhh.. family come?" He asked.
"I don't see why not."
"Can uhhh....Quan come?" He asked Gia.
"I guess. Just tell him leave the drama at home, it's about the girls today."
"We're bout to go to the shoppes to get Nyla an outfit wanna come?"
"I already got her something." He added.
"Okay but it's theese pink and white jordans that she wants."
"Size 5 right? Got those too."
"Well damn, that was our excuse to go shopping." Gia said pouting.
"Y'all can go i'll chill out here just don't be all damn day please."

"Friend, remember when you first seen me and give me $10?"
"Yeah i do, why?"
"Well since im eight, can I get eight hundred."
"You can get whatever you want today babygirl okay?" I said kissing her forehead.
"How old would your daughter be?" She asked me. I had told her and Naya about my first child dying.
"She'd be 8 also. But this day is about you. Let's go ride your car with Kai."
After about 3 hours past they finally came back.
"Took ya bout long enough." I said getting up to open the door.
"Shutup cry baby, where they at?" Gia asked.
"Upstairs with Kodak and Uzi, getting them dressed for the party."

"She just think she so grown." I said showing Jordan some pictures Nyla took on my phone.
"Both y'all think ya grown, but i still love you both."
"Why? Because we're just like Carson and your girl?" I said tearing up.
"Dont ever come out your mouth and say that. My kid was never around me, i saw her when her mother wanted me to see her which was rare. Her mother fake cared for me until she got on her feet."
"So why you like us so much?"
"Because you make me better, y'all give me a purpose to live. The fact that she looks up to me to protect and provide makes me want to go harder and because you never had someone that loved you makes me want to love you harder that's just me."
"I'm sorry this little girl just has me emotional."
"What you mean little girl?" He asked.
"See now if it's a boy that got me this emotional we might have to see bout him." I said jokingly.
"It's my birthday party it's time to go." Nyla said interrupting us.
"You don't even know what time it is."
"Yes huh the big hand is on the 4." She said.
"Well, where's the little hand?" Jordan asked.
"At the party dancing now let's go."
Me and Jordan died laughing, when i say this little girl was something else i meant it.
It was about 5 and her party was packed out with kids from her school, some from the neighborhood, Gia's family and Jordan's family.
"So you three are the ones that got my sons heart?" Jordans mother asked.
"Yes, i got his whole heart and the baby. Not mommy, she just has a little bit." Nyla said.
"Can i have a little bit of his heart?" She asked.
"But then he won't have any love to give me."
"What if i give you some love?"
"I can't be in every bodies heart, i'm just one person." She said then running off to go play.
A few more hours went by and it was now 8pm. Time to eat and cut the cake.
The day turned out very well, Kai and Ny had a blast. I've got to know Jordan's family really well. And i can tell me and his sister also mom will be close. His father didn't come off to kind because he was drunk but they said he'll come around eventually.
Marcus and Diamond didn't come which kind of upsetted me. And made me want to curse him out but his daughter already thinks i'm a bad guy so i just let it go.
"Alright, Alright. Everyone id like to say a toast." Gia said.
"Theese little girls are two loving, well raised queens. And the doctors said they wouldn't make it, but here they are today 8 and 7 years stealing people's heart with a smile. Happy Birthday Kai Naveah and Nyla Ashanti !" She said while everyone raised a juice box or a cup.
The kids all went back to playing instead of eating, i looked around for Nyla but i didn't see her anywhere.
"Jordan have you seen Ny?"
"You checked the slides, and bathrooms? They're proably playing she gotta be in here somewhere." He said getting up to help me look.
"Do you see Kai at least ?" I asked, cause they were side by side all day.
"Yeah she right there, ima go ask her go look under the tables and some other hiding spots they we're using." He told me.
After about 10 minutes of telling people to look for her Jordan came back to me. His face was blood shot red, and his fist balled up.
"Bae, Bae what's wrong?"I asked.
"SHIT!" He screamed out knocking over the table.
"Jordan What is wrong?"
"They got my baby! THEY FUCKING GOT NYLA."
"Come with me." He grabbed my arm and pulled up to the upstairs security room along with Gia.
We watched the security camera and you can clearly see, Quan leaving with Nyla. She was not moving at all and her eyes were closed.
He then played the outside camera and he dropped in a different car that pulled off, and he went a different direction.
"Gia, im going to kill him."
"Let me help you." She said locking her arms with mine.
"Y'all shut this shit down, send everyone home. I'm going to get my damn baby." Jordan said.
