After the breakfast, Laura took the girls out for ice cream so me and Naya could talk.

"So, you don't have no feelings or nothing for him?" I asked her, referring to Jordan.

"Nah, and I honestly can say we never were meant for a relationship. We just loved and cared for each other real strong and jumped into something."

"Why you say that?"

"Cause it was kinda like, we wanted each other at first then got each other and it all died down."

"Ive been in that before. But my brother how is he?"

"He's great, I went to his first game of the season and he killed it. His head on his shoulders, staying focused and all. That's my baby man." She smiled, I was happy that she was happy about him.

"He like the little one?"

"Everyone that meets her, likes her. I wish I had it that damn easy." She laughed and shook her head.

"Enough about me, you ready for them to meet him?"

"Uh, yeah. I'm just not ready for him to see me. The last time he saw me, he hit me."

"Jordan? Jordan Sanchez?" She asked shocked.

"Yeah, he can be abusive. And then I took his kid away from him for damn near 8 years, I'm not ready for that conversation either."

"Me and him ended up on bad terms, but when it came to Nyla we only talked when it concerned her and that actually built a frienship, I don't know how."

"So this Nicole?" I asked.

"Um, she's sweet very sweet. She loves my daughter, so I know she'll like your girl. Who is so freaking pretty by the way." She said.

"And bad,and sickening,and a walking money eater."

"So help me, how do you think I should do this." I asked looking for advice.

"What you mean?"

"Can you do it with me, like just help?" I begged.

She sighed. "I can help."

"And also, I need somewhere to stay." I admitted.

"Were y'all staying at now?" She asked.

"We was staying at our own lil spot, butttttt...i actually didn't end up getting the job that I was promised so we got evicted."

"Ima give y'all one month. If either one of you get a job, I'll add another month. But after that y'all gots to go."

I screamed and hugged her tightly.

"Please don't make me regret this." She said.

Naya POV

"Are you fucking stupid Naya ?" Gia questioned chewing me out about what I did.

"Ughhhhh, What was I supposed to say? You know how much he's done for me and Nyla. How could I just put his kid out on the street.

"Well, when you say it that way." She lightened up.

"Ima go shower and get dressed for this damn war that's about to go down."

I sat down and sighed, kinda irritated with the fact that I'm so damn nice.

"Mama can I talk to you?" I heard Nyla say.

"Yeah, come on."

She took a seat on the bed and played with the rips in her jeans.

"What's wrong baby, talk to me."

"I like all the people in my life..like Auntie Gia, Kai, Jordan, Nicole, Grandad and them but... I miss Auntie Icyss and Diamond."

She started to cry, and it broke my heart.

"Okay baby, let me call him and see ifthey answer."

I grabbed my phone from the night stand and called Marcus.

"Yooooo." He answered.

"Where's Diamond?" I asked.

"Upstairs, why? What you calling for?"

"Maybe because that's my neice, and my daughter is crying her eyes out because she misses her."

"Oh..we moved." He said nonchalantly.

"Where too?"

"Florida."

"Marcus, what the fu-"

"I gotta go bye." He hung up the phone and when I called back it went straight to voicemail.

"What he say mama?" Nyla asked wiping her tears expecting for good news.

"Baby, listen to me. I'm your mother, and I don't care how many people you meet no one, is going to love you like I do. And since God loves you and I love you, that's all you need."

"You not never gone leave me right mama?"

"Girl no, I love you too much. Your my bestfriend."

"So why you always trynna beat me then? Huh mama?" I laughed.

"Cause you do stuff that you not supposed to do. And it's consequences for that. Which is getting a whoppin'."

"Okay I guess. When I have a baby I'm not gone beat them. How I get a baby?"

"You need a magic stick and a pretty potato."

"What's a pretty pota-"

I cut her off. "GETTTTT OUTTTTT." I sung while walking her out my room. And not even a couple minutes later Gia walked in.

"So we only got four bedrooms. Break this down to me."

"Tuh, they all gone sleep in the guest room."

"Well. I'm here for yo complicated ass. Cause it's gone get crazy as hell. Maybe we can all be cool but I got a bad feeling about this."

"Its just. This is going to affect Jordan and Donnell both two people who I want to keep in my life. And I hope it doesn't mess our relationships up."

"Yeah, cause you and Donnell are hella cute. I saw your lil post bout him."

"Watchu talking bout?" I asked playing slow.

She grabbed her phone and I rolled my eyes while looking at the post she was referring too.

"Okay and so what dang." I said with a playful attitude.

"Then you saw what he posted?" She asked.

Not playing stupid this time I answered no, so she went to his page and showed me a picture he posted of me him and Nyla.

"Y'all are the fuck cute. Been together a good lil while also. I smell a serious relationship." She said smiling.

"You always fucking smelling something."

"Ma' yo lil friend here." Nyla said walking past my room into hers.

"Speaking of the devil."Gia said

"I literally can not stand none of yall."

"Well sit down." Ny said walking in.

All the noise we were making caused Kai to wake up. All eyes went on her when she yawned.

She said looking at all of us who were in the room. "Auntie?"

"Wassup sleeping beauty?"

"Did i hear you say pretty potato?"
