Hakuouki One-Shots

All Shinsengumi Member's x Demon!Reader ~fluff~

A/N: This one is not romantic. It's more, brotherly/sister kind of love. They treat reader like a sister even though she is techanicly a demon in other people's eyes. In the beginning, they do seem a little harsh on her when she reveals it for the first time, but after being saved by her, when they could fight off the enemy, made them rethink everything about her. They treat her like she was real human being and really enjoy it when her demon shows up to a fight. They knew that they will win automaticly because of how strong she is in her demon form. Here is what her demon form looks like:

Y/N laid on her stomach and pouted. "Why didn't they take me with them." She huffed out. Her ears flickering around as small noise would catch her attention. "What do you mean by 'Why didn't they take me with them'? Hmmm?" She looked over and jumped up when she saw them standing in the doorway. She quickly hid her fox like ears in her hair. Chizuru also looked over at the door and smiled. "Welcome back." She said and went to stand up. Only, her legs decided to give out, causing her to fall. The other's paniced and went to help her, only to see something white pass their vision.

They turn to see a larged kitsune standing in front of Chizuru before she fell. The kitsune's blue and silver eyes scanned the room before it shrank back and returned to Y/N. "Sorry." She whispered out. They looked at her and tried to grasp the situation at hand. "What was that?" Hijikata demanded. Y/N flinched already hearing the hatred in his voice. "I..I'm sorry! I didn't want to tell you, only becuase I knew this would happen." She said. Tears started forming in her eyes as the look only intensified.

Her fox ears finally popped back up and her nine tails emerged. Her eyes reverted to their, blue/silver color. Her eyes darted from one of them to another before she walked towards the door and jumped from the walk way. "It's was nice staying here and all but, I guess my stay is over." She said and walked towards the entrance gate. "Wait Y/N-Chan!" Chizuru yelled. She turned and faced her friend and shook her head. She bent down and jumped. She began jumping from building to building. Chizuru turned to to the other's and shook her head.

"She was only doing something kind. " Chizuru said.

"Ya, but she is a demon Chizuru-Chan. They are mean and evil." Heisuke said.

"She sure didn't seem mean and evil when she saved me from falling." Chizuru snapped and walked towards the kitchen to prepare food for everyone.

{Time Skip}

Chizuru whimpered as the sword pierced her skin. "How does that feel?" The male before said laughing histericlly. The rest of the member's looked up and saw Chizuru sturggling to get away from the man in front of her. A sudden noise caught all of their attention. Chizuru shakeily looked in the direction of the noise. Her eyes widened at what she saw. Y/N jumped from her spot and landed in front of Chizuru. Her kitsune out like that one time she had saved Chizuru from falling.

Her nine tails slowly wagging behind her as her piercing blue and silver eyes stared the men down. "How dare you enter and destory everything you see. How dare you bring harm to these humans I have vowed to protect since the day the took me in?" The man froze as the demon continued to stare him down. Her tail's shot over to the Shinsengumi memeber's and wrapped itself around them and pulled them over to her.

She did the same with Chizuru. Only, her tail had a special power to it. She could heal anything only if she saw it fit. With the Shinsengumi, she saw it fit to heal all their wounds and fix any sicknesses or illiness they had. She even healed Okita of his Tuberculosis. "Leave and never return to this place. If you do, I will not hesitate to kill you." She said and watched them leave the headquarters running for their lives and screaming. She placed them back on the floor and sighed.

Reverting to her human, she looked at them. "Sorry. Didn't mean to intervene." She said looking down. All the members raced over and hugged her tightly. "Thank you!" They yelled. She stared at them with a bewildered look in her eyes. Hijikata walked over to her and placed a hand on her head hesitantly. "I'm sorry for what I said to you. You didn't deserve that. I really am sorry." He said. Y/N smiled at him. "Don't worry about it. I'm fine. I thought over what I did and realised that it's kinda scary to see a giant kitsune demon in your home. That was my fault. I'm sorry for that." She said.

Hijikata looked at her and shook his head and chuckled. "We shouldn't have acted that way though. It wasn't the most civilized why we could have acted towards the situation." He said. Y/N rolled her eyes and laughed, causing the other's to laugh along with her. She stared at them before she felt her heart start beating for the first time in a thousand years. She pressed her hand to where her heart was and smiled softly.

"What are you doing?" Sanosuke asked pointing to her hand. Y/N blinked before smiling. "Demons don't have hearts. We are born with one, but it never beats. Demons are always feared and looked down upon. So if we can't feel our hearts beating, we can attack anyone and not feel guilt or remorse in our actions. After tonight though.." She looked up at the moon that hung low in the sky. "I got to feel my heart beat for the first time in a thousand years. I am greatful to you all for that. You allowed my heart to beat and allowed me to feel it agian." She said.

She looked back at them with tears in her eyes and a bright smile covered her face. Chizuru grinned and ran over to her and hugged her tightly. They watched Y/N's ears and tails appear due to her excitement. They smiled happily.

"I don't think. That we will be letting you leave here any time soon. You are apart of our family, now and forever." Hijikata said smiling down at her. Y/N smiled. "Really?!" She said her tails waging excitedly. Her ears stood up straight. He laughed and nodded his head.

She changed into her kitsune and stared jumping around. The other members started laughing and chased after her. Chizuru and Hijikata and Kondō stood there watching the other mess around. "She really is something else isn't she." Kondō said laughing and walking towards the others.
