He couldn't' believe what his eyes were showing him. He couldn't understand the pain that was pounding against his heart. The tears drenched his face as he raced forward. Isami Kondo was already at her side clenching his fist as he screamed at the enemy with so much rage. Tadashi knew that Isami was her older brother and respected him for many things, but, something wasn't sitting right as the commander of the Shinsengumi was screaming and raging at the enemy. Dropping to his knees, Tadashi brought her against his chest and held her close.

Isami Kondo and his team attacked the army that had taken the shot and brought all of them to their knees with the overwhelming strength from their anger. Tadashi pressed his ear to her chest and tried his best to hear a heartbeat. He began to panic. Saito called over a doctor and did his best to calm Tadashi down. "I am sorry o say this but, She is pregnant. Well, she was." The doctor said before standing up and heading back the way he came after he told them what was going on.

Tadashi just stood there. "No. That can't be right. There is no way that she would die like that!" He yelped. He dropped to his knees and wrapped his arms around himself as he just sat there and cried. He couldn't help it. They had been married for what, four going on five years and this was the time they decided would be the best to have children. He turned to Isami and felt his heart grow tired of his screams and cries. "Isami, what do we do now?" He asked turning to her brother.

 Isami signed and knelt down next to his baby sister. He scooped her up in his arms and carefully took her back to their headquarters. Tadashi followed and stayed next to him as they walked back. His heart ached and yearned for her to come back to his side but even then, he knew that it was impossible for her to return to his side. He tried so hard to hold his tears back but, the minute they placed her down on a makeshift altar/bed, his tears just began flowing down his cheeks.

He dropped to his knees and intertwined his fingers with her cold ones. He pressed them to his lips as he felt his throat tighten and a lump formed in his throat. "I will miss you my love. You were and still are my everything and now, I won't get to live till my death with you by my side. I won't have a young child I can call my own. I won't be able to see you anymore. I wish....I wish that you were still here by my side." He whispered.
