When you finally cry yourself to sleep
You dream of how it used to be
Then you wake up and see
You’re back into reality
It still wants to take you in at night
Bring you down to its deep, dark light
You lay awake wondering
Why things are never as they seem
Happiness is only a fallacy
What will it get you in the end
Nothing worth noting down in pen
Always to be stuck in this scary world called reality
Where people walk along and not care
That our world, our people, our lives are in despair
Your own life, in crumbles in wait
Not knowing what is to be your fate
You lay yourself down to sleep
As you try to dream more peacefully
But now you’re realizing
Your dreams are also stuck in reality
The only thing that took away the fright
Has disappeared in that deep dark light
Again crying yourself to sleep
Its always going to be this deep, dark reality.
