We finally made it to the hotel and I had just walked to my room which was across the hall from Aaron, I didn't say much to him or the others since we arrived here, I didn't want to get close to them because I had developed trust issues and had no friends or family. The only people I trusted forgot that I even existed. I closed the door of the hotel room and pulled my razor blades out of my travel bag and walked into the bathroom, I placed it against wrist and gently sliced the skin open enough to draw blood, I started to feel numb and fell on the floor pretty fast, I had started cutting after my mother dropped me off at the asylum three years ago and forgotten about me, life was hard before than...my father got drunk and would touch me inappropriately and he would force himself on my mother every night, that's how I come along because my father raped my mother every night after they got married until he died 7 years ago, I never understood why she stayed with him but she says she loved him, I woke up in a hospital bed with Zak sitting next to the bed while he was holding my hand, he saved me once again and yet I didn't want him to but I guess God wanted me to have a guardian angel which came in the form in a sexy unmarried ghost hunter. I felt myself smile which I haven't done in years because I didn't have anything to smile for anymore. I squeezed his hand and seen him look up at me as he gave me a gorgeous smile while he intertwined his fingers with mine and kissed my hand gently.

Raven: how long have I been here?

Zak: maybe two hours, why didn't you come to me Raven? I can help you if you just let me

Raven: because Zak I need saving, people have already tried to help me and I can't be helped. I want to die can't you see that Zak, I have nothing left to live for

Zak: I can save you Raven but you have to trust me first, I care about you if I didn't I wouldn't be letting you live in my house and besides Gracie loves you, she never gotten attached to a stranger before not until you come along.

Raven: I love Gracie, she is a sweet dog and as far as trusting again it's going to take me some time to do that.

The doctor came in and gave me my discharge papers, me and Zak went back to the hotel, I laid in the bed and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillows.
