I left Aaron and Raven at her new house so Christine wouldn't bitch at me, I had been wanting to break up with her and now that I was with her I had to do because I couldn't stand her anymore, I was done dating fake women, I wanted to be with someone like Raven, she didn't act nothing like those girls I've been with in the past.

Christine: who is that girl anyway? She looks like a goth girl...ugh who cares she is probably a whore and why were you hanging out with her babe? She isn't even that pretty. Am I right?

I stopped the car immediately and looked over at Christine

Zak: Don't ever talk about Raven like that again, she isn't the whore here you are and I'm tired of you judging other people, Raven is very sweet and has been through alot, get out of my car. Me and you are finished Christine!

Christine: are you breaking up with me?

Zak: that's exactly what I'm doing now get out of my car!

Christine: fine, go back to that slut and don't contact me ever again!

She slammed the car door and I sped off while I left Christine standing on the sidewalk, I headed back to Raven's house and pick up Aaron so I could take him back home. It was 2 am but I really didn't care I just hope Raven wasn't sleeping because I didn't know how she acted if she was woken up. I rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer and it was the one person that I always liked seeing.

Zak: I know that it is late but I come to see if Aaron was here so I could take him home.

Raven: oh he left two hours ago, Billy took him home but you're welcome to come inside if you want, I'll make some hot cocoa since it's a little cold outside.

I walked inside and sat down at the bar that was close to the kitchen and watched her make enough for both of us.

Raven: so that girl you left with, is she a friend of yours?

Zak: no she is my ex girlfriend. I actually broke up with her before I come back here, She's a drama queen and I got tired of dealing with that.

Raven: oh well, maybe it was for the best. Here is your cocoa, here's to being single. Cheers!

Zak: cheers to that, this is some good cocoa Raven.

Raven: I'm glad you like it, my ex boyfriend never appreciated everything I did for him

Zak: well that's one thing we have in common, we both have ex lovers that wasn't very appreciative of anything.

Raven: yeah well it was more of me acting like a house maid while he went sleeping around behind my back, I cooked for him, cleaned his kitchen and washed his clothes and the thanks I get was him cheating on me.

Zak: I'm sorry you got treated like that Raven, you deserve better than that.

Raven: yeah you're right, now if I can only find my mr. Right, I have told myself that I'm ready to settle down and raise a family but it seems the universe has other plans for me

Zak: you're so young Raven and have so much to live for and if you think the universe has different plans for you than maybe it's for the best to not change what is yet to come your way.

Raven: perhaps me and you was meant to meet each other, tell me something Zak...that day you seen me in the alley almost getting raped, where were you going to do befors you saved me from that horny old goat?

Zak: I was having a morning jog before I went to meet the guys and heard you screaming for help and I seen what he was doing to you.

Raven: I sometimes wonder if you was sent to me on purpose but I guess since I've been diagnosed with being unstable, I tend to go a bit crazy

Zak: I don't think you're crazy Raven, I often wonder the same thing some days. It's like the universe wan---

Raven: wanted me to have a guardian angel.

Zak: yeah exactly... Raven I---

Raven: please don't Zak, I'm not ready to have my heart broken again.

Zak: I would never break your heart Raven, I'm not like those other jerks that you've been with in the past.

Raven: I know you aren't them, I just need time to think if this is what I want

Zak: I know that you're hurting Raven but don't push me away, let me be here for you. Let me be the one to save you.

Raven: can you hold me Zak? That's all I want right now is to be held

I slowly walked over to her and held her as tight as I could, I wouldn't admit it to myself before she needed me, I felt her hands rest on the top of my back and heard her sobbing. I didn't realize how much she was holding in until just now.

Zak: it's okay Raven, let it all out...I'm here for you and always will be.
