Goodbye my love pt. 2

*Zak*

I held her close to me while she laid there gasping for air as I looked down and seen a sharp metal object gouged in the center of her chest, she grabbed my hand as tightly as she could before  she started to speak to me the best she could, I could tell she was fading fast but she continued to fight the best she could.

Raven: I love you Zak...

Zak: I love you too Raven, hang in there baby you're going to be okay....

Raven: Take care of our son and tell him every day that I love him so much.

I felt the grip she had on my hand loosen up and her eyes had shut slowly, I knew she was gone. I felt the tears streaming down my face as I held her tighter than before then picked her up and carried her outside to where the others were sitting at.

Aaron: what happened to her?!

Zak: I don't know, but she will no longer be a part of this crew

I laid her on the ground while Aaron called 911 and reported her death, A few minutes passed and someone picked her body up...I wasn't ready to let her go and didn't know how I was going to tell Ryan when I got home.

Zak: I'm gonna let you guys pack up the equipment...I will see you guys later Im going home.

Aaron: alright dude, if you need anything just call me okay?

I didn't say anything else as I started walking back home, we wasn't investigating far from where I lived, so Raven decided to get her friend Tracy to watch Ryan until we got back, I opened the door and seen her sitting on the floor next to him while he played with a few building blocks.

Tracy: oh hey Zak I didn't see you come in.

Zak: I just walked in, could you stay for a little bit longer, Im gonna get a shower then come back down. How much do I owe you Tracy?

Tracy: oh I don't mind watching him until you come back down Zak, Raven and I agreed on 90 dollars.

Zak: ok well here is what two agreed on and an extra ten for watching him until I come back downstairs in a few.

I handed her the money and walked up the stairs and grabbed some clean clothes then walked into the bathroom and locked the door that way I wouldn't be bothered while I took a hot shower, I thought of every little thing that has happened to me and Raven the good and bad times, I missed her touch and the she moaned my name whenever we made love. I remembered being overjoyed when she told me that she was pregnant with my child, I loved everything about Raven and watching her die in my arms was like a dream that I would never wake up from...she meant so much to me and I never got to tell her what she meant to me...
