14) New Addition to the Family

Danny's POV: Mom sent me out to the grocery store as Claudia was napping and Jackson and Liam were just as clingy as they normally are if not more. As I walk out of the grocery store I run into a kid about my age looking all bruised and beaten. For some reason I do the only thing I can think of and that is to take him home with me to see if mom can help him?

Isaac's POV:

*Knocked out by wolf's bane*

*Flashback in a dream*

Isaac: Um - so far it's an "A" in French and a "B" minus in Econ.

Mr. Lahey: Oh. What about chemistry?

Isaac: I'm not sure. Uh, midterms are in a few days so it could go up.

Mr. Lahey: Well, what's it at now?

Isaac: The grade?

Mr. Lahey: Uh, yeah.

Isaac: Uh, I'm not sure.

Mr. Lahey: But you just said it could go up.

Isaac: I just - uh, I meant generally.

Mr. Lahey: You wouldn't be lying to me, would you, Isaac?

Isaac: No.

Mr. Lahey: Then tell me your grade.

Isaac: I just told you, I don't know.

Mr. Lahey: You want to take this little conversation downstairs? No? Then tell me the grade, son.

Isaac: Dad, this semester's only half over.

Mr. Lahey: Isaac?

Isaac: There's plenty of time –

Mr. Lahey: Isaac.

Isaac: It's - it's a "D".

Mr. Lahey: All right. It's a "D". I'm not angry. You know I'm going to have to find a way to punish you though. You know, I have my responsibility as a parent. So we'll start with something simple, like, uh - Tell you what, you do the dishes and you clean up the kitchen, okay?

Isaac: Yeah.

Mr. Lahey: Good. Because I - I'd really like to see this place spotless. Know what I'm saying? You know? I mean this entire kitchen. Yeah! Yeah, absolutely - Spotless. Well, that was your fault.

Isaac: You could have blinded me.

*Isaac runs out of the house as his birth father grabs a gun*

Mr. Lahey: Shut up! It's a scratch! It's hardly even - Isaac. Isaac! Isaac! Isaac! Isaac. Isaac? Isaac? Okay, that's enough. Let's go! That's it, grab your bike and let's go! Isaac? Holy - ! Aah! No! No! No! Aah! No! Aah! No! No! No! No!

*Isaac's dad gets attacked accidently causing him to die of a heart attack*

*Flashback Ends*

*Another Flashback from three years before*

Mr. Lahey: Hand me the 7/16 wrench. What the hell? This is the 9/16, you moron. You know what the difference between a seven and a nine is, dumb-ass?

Isaac: You know what the difference between a seven and a nine is? It's a stripped bolt.

Mr. Lahey: A stripped bolt.

Isaac: I'm sorry, I didn't... What do you want me to do?

Mr. Lahey: I want you to shut up.

*Flashback ends as Isaac wakes up and starts to hyperventilate*

Stiles POV: I can tell Isaac is freaking out but once he senses that I am a Luna werewolf he calms down. I ask Isaac what happed he tells me that he was fighting a group of hunters along with his pack and that the hunters were only able to knock him out but not kill him and that the rest of his pack was killed. I ask about this biological family. He tells me that his mom and brother were killed in a car accident three years ago and that his father died of a heart attack a year ago. I ask him to wait in the room were in while I go talk to Scott. After I tell him what happened he agrees we can't just let Isaac leave so I go and ask him an all too important question "Do you want to be part of the McCall-Stilinski Pack"? He just happily shakes his head yes before brining me into a nearly bone crushing hug.
