"I will wait for you honey!" I yelled to Suho as the walls of the maze closed shut

It was a tradition to send 12 men into the maze every year. They call it the test of human kind. This year they so happen to choose my husband, Suho for the testing. We only got married for a week before we had to part.

I can't believe it's been a year, since I last saw Suho. Everyday seemed to go by slowly without him. My mom was telling me to consider looking for a new husband if he doesn't come out of the maze this year. I didn't want to do that. I'm a faithful person.

The ceremony was going to be at midnight when they release the old people who had managed to find the exit and put in more people to retain the 12 people policy.

I was waiting outside of the maze when I saw a group of little kids surrounding an ancient old widow in our the middle of our town square.

She was telling a story to them. I decided to join since the walls don't open for another half hour. She smiled at me when I sat down next to the bonfire.

She started to tell the story in her enchanting voice

"There was a happy couple, who only just got married before they had to separate again. The man was sent to the military. On the day he was supposed to come back he didn't."

And the story went on and on. I was starting to get sleepy.

The walls opened revealing all the boys except Suho. What's going on what's happening he promised he'll come back out alive.

I looked into the maze and I swear I saw him. A set of 11 guys went into the maze. Surrounding me were other women some crying from sadness and others happiness.

As the walls were about to close, I slipped on before anyone could stop me.
