*Phoenix's P.O.V*

We worked almost all night. Parker fell asleep around two in the morning, and just as the sun came up I fell asleep under the tree we were working in. We were cutting down branches, weaving them into mats, then propping them against a tree trunk.

Eventually I was shaken awake. My eyes shot open and I whipped out my dagger. Parker jumped back. "When did you fall asleep?" He asked.

"Just as as the sun came up." I rubbed my eyes. The sun was high in the sky.

"Did you eat?" I sighed as I stood.

"No I woke up a few minutes ago." Parker answered.

"C'mon. I know where I can get food." I began to walk to the dining pavilion with Parker at my heels. "Is this going to be a trap that causes me to be extremely embarrassed?" He asked when he caught up to me.

"No," I sighed, "I've been thrown into several traps and nearly killed for doing so. Do you think I'm going to do that to someone like me?" I answered his question with a question.

"How do you know I'm like you?" He answered the question with a question.

I shrugged. "It's a small voice in the back of my head that tells me things about people. You weren't bullied for just tattoos and piercings. You were bullied for being short too. You're fourteen, and was born in Alaska."

Parker was silent for a while. "So you're a physic." He stated.

"Yeah. I guess so." I sighed.

We quietly walked up the steps of the dining pavilion. Nobody was there since it was after breakfast and a while before lunch. We walked to the Hermes table. I looked around to see if anybody was watching. All clear. I slid two plates off the table and tucked them under my jacket. I began to walk away when there was a familiar, murderous voice behind me. "Where are you going?"

I spun around and Octivan stood there in the middle of the pavilion. I set the plates on the table nearest to me. I flicked my wrist and my glove became a sword. "Parker, run. Get Nico, Percy or Jason. Quickly." I ordered.

Parker nodded and ran. "Thought the camp was in Key West Florida." Octivan said, pulling out a sword.

"Thought I got away." I replied.

"Well you didn't."

"Isn't that obvious?"

Octivan took a step forward, I stepped back. "Getting ready to run again?" Octivan chided.

"Possibly." I answered.

"You Greeks are so puny, weak, and such idiots." Octivan said taking a step with each word. He was so close I could hear him murmuring. I swung my sword in a wide upward arch. His sword shot up and stopped my blade from slicing his head off. "Like I said. Greeks are idiots." Octivan sighed.

He made a circle motion with his blade, which caught me off guard. I couldn't stop my sword from following his. He simply disarmed me. (this makes me question my swordsman ship.)

I whipped out my dagger and a throwing knife. I held the dagger in my left hand and the throwing in the right. "I'm going to kill you." Octivan grinned.

He did an overhand cut. I stopped it with the dagger and supported it with the throwing knife. He pulled his sword back and examined the large nick in his blade. He then did and underhand cut. I stopped it. He pulled his sword back and attempted to stab me. I held the throwing knife and dagger in a 'x' form. I dropped to my back, leaving my hands up holding the blades where Octivans sword went right trough the top. His sword slid until the cross-guard clinked against my two blades. Quickly I opened and closed my blades and managed to pull his sword from his hand. I threw my arms back and his sword skittered across the floor.
