*Phoenix's P.O.V*

"Well... I guess he can..." Nico said. Just then there was a strong wind and Sprinkers lept off Nico's head and ran back into my room.

"Would you ever want to meet dad?" Nico asked as I stood.

I shrugged, "I guess... Why?"

"Camp Half-blood is going to Olympus for the summer solstice."

"Probably not." It began to pour.

"Lets get back inside." Nico said as he stood. I nodded an we crawled in trough the window.

"Wanna see something?" I asked Nico as I walked to my closet.

"What is it?"

"Cool."

"Sure."

I opened the door to my closet door and Nico stared at the weapons in amazement.

"How did you get so many weapons?"

"Every thing but the knives are from the Romans. They're easy to steal from." I shut the door and sat on my bed.

"Nico, what's the meaning of being a demigod?"

"Well... I guess it means to be special in your own way."

"I've been told I'm special in one way."

"Which way?"

"No clue." I said as I stood.

"Oh! I've been meaning to ask you, what's you're phone number?" Nico asked.

I pulled out my phone and checked. "Its 836-826-2763."

"Thanks."

I walked to the door and pulled it open. "Now where are you going?" Nico asked.

"To get food."

I slid down the handrail on the stair case, and walked to the kitchen. Everyone was sleeping, even Spinkers. As I started to make coffee, Nico appeared at the doorway. "Do you think we're going to wake them up?" I asked.

"Nah, if they stay awake long enough, they'll sleep like coma patients." Nico answered and I nodded. I found a bag of pretzels and opened it. I sat at the table and Nico sat across from me.

"You seem different." He said putting his elbow on the table and his chin in his palm.

"What does that mean?" I replied as I pulled a pretzel from the bag.

"The first day I met you, you wanted nothing to do with anybody under this roof. And now you're supplying food, water, shelter and phones." He pointed out.

"Over the years, I've learned to trust nobody instantly. When you met me, I was scared, in pain, and thought I was going to die." I said quietly.

"You all slowly grew onto me. You guys'll be the family I'll never be able to say goodbye to." I added.

"Don't ever leave me."

"Why would I leave you?"

"I meant don't die, my other sister had died and I only found out a few days later." He choked when he mentioned his sister. I offered him the bag of pretzels and he gladly accepted it.

"When was the last time you slept?" He eventually asked. I didn't respond.

Soon, the coffee was finished being made an I poured most of the beverage into a mug. When I sat back down, a mouse was on the table. I poked it and it rolled onto its side. Nico faintly smiled and I giggled to myself.
