*Phoenix's P.O.V*

When I came from the shadow, Piper bombarded me with questions.

"Where is he? Is he okay? Are you okay?"

"Still at New Rome, he's fine, and Jason didn't stand by his own words." I said as a tear rolled down my cheek.

After she nodded and ran off, I searched for Nico. He was siting on the porch of our cabin. "Are you okay?" He asked when I ran to him.

"No, Jason needs someone to take him back here from New Rome." I said.

"Okay," Nico sighed, "why do I need to get him?"

"Six... can't and I honestly don't even want to think about Jason right at the moment." I answered as Nico ran into a shadow.

I slowly walked up the stairs, into the cabin and grabbed a supply pack I had gotten from the Romans. I put spare arrows, throwing knives and an extra dagger into it along with 2 bottles of water. I grabbed my bow and glumly, walked to the dining pavilion and snagged a magic plate. I put that into my bag as well.

As I left the dining pavilion, campers began to rush in. I caught a glimpse of Percy wave but I wanted to be alone. I kept walking until I got to the top of half-blood hill. I turned back and looked back at the camp for one last time. I didn't hold the tears back anymore, I let them fall as I walked away from the camp.

*Nico's P.O.V*

Phoenix had asked me to get Jason from New Rome. So I did. When I got to New Rome I asked Jason, "Why didn't Phoenix take you back to camp?"

"I'll show you." He said leading me down a path. When we turned I saw why Phoenix doesn't want to think about Jason.

Six's lifeless body laid on the stone path. "Why did you let this happen?" I asked quietly.

"I didn't mean to. A roman chased him, if I moved, a brick would've been smashed into my skull." Jason said, his eyes welling with tears. I walked to Six's body and knelt next to him. He wore a leather cuff on his wrist. It had six talley marks and a small drawing of a phoenix. I pulled it off his wrist and slid it onto mine.

"Why'd you-"

"He was my brother," I almost yelled, "he was my sibling. Someone for me to look after. Now he's dead." My voice cracked several times but I didn't care.

I stood and walked back to Jason. "Can't you like, summon ghosts or something?" He asked quietly.

I nodded, "But I can't bring them back to life."

"Can you at least try?" Jason pleaded.

Just then, I had a great idea. "What if, we bring Six's body with us, have it stitched, we get blood into it and I get Six's spirit to possess the body."

"That might just work." Jason perked.

I lifted Six's body and sighed, "Alright, let's go."

I grabbed Jason's arm and walked into a shadow.

We appeared at the top half-blood hill.

Jason took Six's body and we went down to the infirmary. Half way there, Piper rushed to Jason. "You're okay!" She squealed.

"Yeah, only because of Phoenix."

"How?"

"She killed most of the Romans." Jason admitted.

"Oh. Is Six okay?" Piper asked

"No. Jason just has his body." I said as we walked up the stairs to the infirmary. When we opened the door, healers were scrambling around. Jason paced until he found an open bed. He laid Six's body on it and waited for a healer.
