Jungkook searched for her, and his members were worried for nothing. They assumed why Jungkook was upset because of Yejin coming back, but it turned out that Jungkook finally knows who coffee girl is.
"Hyung I swear it's her", Jungkook kept on insisting to his older brothers, "How did you even?, when all you saw was her eyes and not to mention she was wearing a mask", Yoongi exaggerates his point. They thought that their maknae must've went insane because he met his ex girlfriend. "Her writing was similar to the letters, and she has her picture here see", Jungkook pointed out a Polaroid picture of her, they were all astonished. She was a pretty girl, but they rarely saw her go to school.
"Wait I know her!, she used to work in that café where all of us gathered during Jungkook's first time here in Seoul", Jin's words slapped Jungkook. Probably why her name was coffee girl because they met at that very café when he first went to Seoul to meet the whole group, she was on her way to her shift when she met him by coincidence. "I can't believe that this is happening oh my god", Taehyung looked overly in happiness for his younger brother.
"Well, let's get going know, we have our contemporary dancing period after this, we only have like five minutes to change, our professor will be in distraught", Yoongi tells the others as he fixes his things heading for their next period. And Hoseok knew that she was attending the same class as them, she was a good dancer, but it never crossed his mind that she would be the one sending letters and things to his younger brother. It scared him, because he knew that something was off her as well, they used to talk but she grew further from him.
Maybe it's because that she was hiding something about herself, she was too selfless, he would always tell her to "Love yourself", but now he thinks that she knew what that meant now that she started to have an interest in liking their maknae. He was just anxious about her condition. And before he could even decipher everything, there goes Jungkook carrying an unconscious girl to the infirmary, cutting his thoughts off, Yoongi gave him an assuring smile, squeezing his hands. "I hope that Jungkook knows what he's doing", Hoseok gave a frown to Yoongi. "He's old enough and I believe that he can handle her well", Yoongi continued to rub circles on Hoseok's back, Namjoon, Taehyung,Jimin, and Jin came to the two.
"Was that girl her?", Taehyung's eyes in bewilderment, at the same time worried about her state.
"Seems like it's her, Shin Ryujin. The girl that has so much talent, but she rarely shows up to school in a good condition, from what I know when we were close, she always has to get some medical care you know", Hoseok tells them in worry.
"So maybe she's just tired?, but remember the letter that she wrote to kookie about her not having enough time?", Jimin remembered
"Yeah, I just hope that they will be fine soon. Except Yejin is here for Jungkook, she'll surely get in the way", Jin muttered in annoyance
"Then let's do what we can for Jungkook and Ryujin, I mean Yejin was pretty much an ass to Jungkook and his older brother. And as Ryujin's friend I can't accept that fact", Hoseok spat
"We agree, then let's do it", everyone agreed
They just wanted to push it for the benefit of their maknae as well.
Ryujin's eyes opened, she saw Jungkook staring at her. She sat properly and looked at him in disbelief, was she dreaming?. Why is Jungkook with her right now?. Does he know the truth?.
"Ryujin-ah", Jungkook softly caresses her cheeks, he was more than glad to see her awake. But what worries him is that her lips were too pale, her eyes were droopy, her forehead was still sweating a lot. "Are you okay now?" he asked her. She nodded slightly, "You know I never thought that you would be coffee girl", he chuckled pinching her cheeks. Due to her embarrassment she pulled the covers of the bed to cover her face.
"No need to be shy, I think that it's cute", after hearing him say that her heartbeat increased and blood rushed to her cheeks. She was cute to him, did she hear them right?, she didn't hve an ear defect right?. She mutters to herself before Jungkook pulls the cover and places a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Ryujin-ah, don't be shy okay?. Let's not be awkward with each other", Jungkook rubs tiny circles on her hand. She took a deep breath before nodding her head.
"Why did you run when you saw us already?", Jungkook asks with his eyes boring into hers.
"I saw you with another girl", she squeaks
"Don't mind her, she doesn't matter to me. The important thing is that I know who you are now, and by the way I have your journal", he told her. Her eyes widened, she was looking for that journal for months now, she was worried that people would find out the reason why her existence was rarely in school.
"You didn't read it, didn't you?", she gulped
"Of course not, why is something important there?", he gives her a doubting look, she sighed in relief. "Well not really, it's things about women", she lied wanting to burry her face again in deep abyss. "Well let me return it to you later then when you're better", he hugs her in a gentle way.
"But I'm fine now", she whined like a kid. Jungkook couldn't help it but to laugh at her innocence, she was throwing a tantrum and badly wanted to go home.
The day ended and Jungkook informed the members that he was going to walk Ryujin home, because he was too worried that she might faint again in the outskirts of town.
When they were near Ryujin's apartment, she ran her way towards the kitchen and Jungkook saw bottles of pills, rather medicine near her table. His curious self made him look at it and quietly took a picture.
Ryujin came back with a hot coffee, since she used to be a barista she wanted to make her specialty for Jungkook. Gladly he enjoyed drinking her coffee, she was staring at awe. He was so attractive more in a closer view. His eyes twinkled, he seriously thought that it was one of the coffee's that tasted excellent. "Why are you staring at me?", he questioned Ryujin whom she looked away shyly. "No", she denied covering her face making it more obvious for Jungkook.
"Cute", he pinched her cheeks, a message popped out on Jungkook's phone as his members were looking for him. He wasn't aware that it was late already, he wanted to spend more time with Ryujin, because her identity was recently revealed. It made his heart race, because she thought that girl that was kind enough to go with him in that café whereas he was just starting the new chapter of his life. He didn't knew that she would take an interest on a guy like him, he was so different long ago. Very naïve, and childish. But that courage and patience that she handled for over two years left him awestruck. He was lucky that he finally found her, just the issue was Yejin. How will he handle his past, when probably a swarm of doubts lingers into him that he maybe hasn't properly moved on from his past.
And he didn't want to hurt his precious coffee girl, which was Ryujin Shin.
