Scarlet's POV

I woke up to hear my mom banging on my door. "Get up Scarlet!!! You don't want to be late for school!!!! Someone is here to see you." She said that last part quietly so I could barely hear. I got in the shower and tried to forget last night. Everything was still clear. Seeing his face everywhere. Next thing I knew he was standing in front of my door. Jackson Jone. The captain of the football team. "Hey Scarlet. I need to talk to you."

We started walking to school like we always do. Today was different though. "So what do you need to talk to me about?" I gave him a look. He knew what it meant and he nodded. It was about last night. "I'm sorry if I hurt you by saying those things. I never meant to." He looked at me and gave me a hug. "It's okay Jack. Anyway some of those things are true. Like the part that I always look depressed. Well sometimes I am. Not all the time." I said quickly. He nodded. We met up with all our other friends as usual. Logan, Jane, and Mike. "Hey you too. What's up?" Jane says with a smile. "Not much. Just talking." I wanted to ignore last night but Jane always brings stuff up. "So how was last night? Do anything different?" I knew what she was talking about. I quickly shook my head. She smiled at me. "Scarlet and I just got in a little fight, nothing big. We dealt with it this morning so we can just not talk about it anymore." Jack said quickly looking at me. He smiled. It's like he knows everything that I'm thinking. The bell rang and we all went our separate ways.

Jack's POV

When I looked at Scarlet, I knew something was different. But what? I couldn't have feelings for her. Could I? "Hey Jack, can I ask you something? It's private so can you come here?" I walked over to Jane and went into the art room. I turned around to see her face inches away from mine. "Jack, I've been wanting to tell you this for like a month." She got closer to me each breath she took. I backed away a little trying to understand what she's trying to say. "Jack, I," Before she could finish, I leaned in and kissed her. I didn't know why. Maybe I liked her. I pulled away and she looked at me. "So you like me too?! I knew it!" I froze, not knowing what to do. I guess I did like her. Right before I went to kiss Jane, Scarlet walked in. I froze. "Hey guys." She said in a confused voice. "Hey Scarlet." I said moving away from Jane. Scarlet just looked at us. "Oh, I see now. I'll leave you two alone." She closed the door as I started walking her way. I didn't know what she was thinking. Jane just walked toward me and put her arms around my neck. "So, she knows now. Do you think she's okay with us being together?" I looked at Jane and shook my head. "I don't know. I'll ask her later." I turned around and kissed Jane on the lips. I felt at peace with her by my side.

Logan's POV

I didn't know how to tell her. Maybe she would know. All I know is she's right across me at the lunch table. "Hey, Jane, I wanted to tell you something." I saw her look at me then look away. Jack walked over and sat by her. He never does. Jane got up and sat on his lap. "Hold that thought Logan. We have something to tell all of you. Mike moved closer to them. "Oh, please do tell." I felt anxiety in my stomach. "Jack and I are dating." Jane said to all of us. I saw Scarlet's look on her face and knew she felt the same thing I felt. Disappointed. "Oh, this is so sweet. You guys are so cute." Mike looked so happy. Jane looked at me. "So what did you want to tell me Logan?" I looked at her and shook my head. "Never mind. It doesn't matter." She just looked at me for a few minutes. We just ate lunch together. Scarlet looked depressed. She had her head down the whole time, not talking to anyone. The bell rang and I walked over to Scarlet. "Hey, you okay?" Tears came from her eyes. I moved my arm to her back and rubbed it. "What's wrong?" She looked at me. "I li-like Jack, but now he's wi-with Jane." She said crying. She saw that I was upset too. "Why are you upset?"
