Logan's POV
I couldn't believe it. Why would she say that I didn't get her? I think my girlfriend has finally lost her mind. Trust me, I get all of her. LITTERITLY! "How do I not get you?" She shook her head. "Nothing, I don't want to talk about it." I pulled her closer to me. "Tell me. You can trust me." I said wanting to know all her troubles. She shook her head and started crying. I held her in my arms and let her cry. "Hey, we can just talk about it later, okay?" She nodded but also shook her head. "Look, why don't we just worry about right now, not yesterday, not tomorrow, just today. Okay?" She nodded. "Does this mean I don't have to talk about my darkness?" I nodded, but looked confused. She really did have a darkness. How did my dad find out and me of all people not know? She put her head on my chest and still had tears coming from her eyes. I wiped them off and kissed her forehead.
I woke up and didn't feel Scarlet by me. I got up and looked around my room. "Scarlet!" I yelled. No answer. All of a sudden she walked through my door. "Logan, what is it?" I walked over to her and squeezed her tight. She hugged me. "What?" I kept squeezing her. "I thought they took you! Don't ever scrare me like that again!" I yelled. She hugged me tighter. "How did I scare you? I was downstairs and I heard you yell. I thought you were in trouble." She said nervously. I looked up at her but saw something like a shadow behind her. "Scarlet, I'll be right back." I said quietly. She nodded. "Okay."
I walked over to where the shadow was and saw my dad. "What are you doing here?" I whispered. He pointed to a list on the floor, knowing that I didn't want Scarlet to know he was here. 'The list?' I lipped. He nodded. I went to pick it up and saw him back up. "What, you think I'm gonna beat you up again?" I whispered. He was quite still. "I guess that means yes." He left quickly and just as he did, Scarlet came behind me. "Is something wrong?" I shook my head and gave her the list. "Wow! He was serious! Well, guess we better get to writing." I nodded. "Yeah, guess so." We walked away into my room and started the story.
Jackson's POV
"Hey. Where were you last night?" My dad said worried that I got in trouble. "Something happened and I had to go fix it." He looked confused. "In other words, I had to help Logan and Scarlet." He nodded. "Why didn't you just say that?" He laughed. I smiled and and shook my head. "Whatever. Don't you have to go to work?" He shook his head. "My team just left yesterday, so I don't really need to go to work." I looked worried. "What happened?" I said. "Just that horrible Davidsons family. John told my guys that he had a special job that they couldn't refuse. I almost went to his house and beat him up. Your sister stopped me." I stood up from my bed with a huge smile on my face.
"Wait, you saw Ariana?!" He nodded. "I knew you would be happy." He smiled. "Where is she? Is she okay? Does she remember me?" He walked toward me and put his hands on my shoulder. "She lives in Manhattan. She is okay. And yes she does remember you." I sighed in relief. Ariana hasn't been home since our mom died. She's 25 and last time I knew she wanted to design clothes for some popular clothes line. "Will I be able to see her soon?" He shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe. She just came to me and talked to me about her life. She wanted me to tell you that she misses you and wishes that you would be there with her. Also she said watch your back for some reason. I don't know what the means though. Jack?" I started walking backwards. I was worried. She told me that before she left. She told me that it meant that she needed my help and that something bad is happening.

I watched her dance and clapped my hands. "Yay! That was good!" She smiled and bowed. "Thank you Jack. But I don't want to be a dancer." "What do you want to be then?" She smiled. "A designer. It's been my wish since I was your age." I looked up at her in awe. "Since you were 10?" She nodded. "Yep. Now I may be able to become one. I'm taking classes in high school that helps me put my designs together. Maybe you should to!" She said happy. I shook my head and made a gross face. "No. Designing stuff is for girls. I'm a dude!" She laughed as I put my hands in a fist, placed them on my hips and moved my head up to look like a strong superhero. Our dad walked in and smiled. Ariana looked at him and smiled. He nodded. She walked out of the room. My mom walked in and held my hand.
