Scarlet's POV

I woke up from my deep sleep and felt arms around me. I turned over slowly so I didn't wake my handsome boyfriend. He fluttered his eyes and yawned. "Good morning beautiful." I kissed his cheek softly. "Good morning." I wanted to get up but he pulled me back down. "Don't go." He said softly and whined for me to stay. I stayed there for a few minutes.

"Logan, I have to leave." He looked at me. "No you don't. Your parents think you're kidnapped. You could stay here as long as you want." I remembered last night. I didn't want to remember it, but he was right. My parents do think I've been kidnapped. "Well they probably dont even care. My mom ratted me out. They were talking about something and my mom pointed to me and said 'she's the one you want.' I still don't know what they were talking about." He sat up. "By they you mean my dad and your idiot non loving mom?" He said idiot non loving very quiet. I still heard it. I nodded. "I heard what you said but it's true. She doesn't love me and she is stupid sometimes." "I said she's an idiot, not stupid, but she probably is." He laughed.

I thought for a moment what my parents were doing now. Maybe they went to the Sheriff. Or the mayor. No matter what, I didn't care. They didn't care. My mom even said that she never wanted me. Why would she care? My mind filled with thoughts that I had no idea what the answers were. "Hello? Earth to Scarlet!" I shook my head out of my trance. "What're you thinking about?" I shook my head again. "Nothing, just thinking about my parents. I don't know why but it doesn't matter." He sighed. "Well, okay. But if you ever want to talk about something, I'm here for you." He shoved me. "I know." He pressed his lips against mine and smiled. "What?" His grin grew bigger. "Just you. You're beautiful." I blushed of course. We lied there together and decided to go get breakfast at Tom's.

Logan's POV

We ordered breakfast and talked for awhile. Jackson and Jane walked in and didn't even notice that we were there. We sat there eating and watching them talk and still not notice us. "You think they're gonna notice us?" I shook my head. "Probably not. Maybe Jane but not Jackson." I knew Jackson didn't want to talk to us but Jane? Why would she ignore us? We got up and started heading out the door. "Scarlet!" We turned around to see Jane with her hands in the air. "What the fuck?!" Scarlet walked toward them. "Now you notice us. We've been sitting here all morning!" Jane got up. "We were waiting for you guys to say something!" Scarlet and I just left cause we didn't want to start anything. Jackson stormed out and yelled so that we could hear him. "Logan!!" I turned around and stared at him. "What do you want?" I asked annoyed. "We need to talk. Now. It's about your dad."

We went to my place so no one would find us except for that group last night. "What about my dad?" Jackson sat down and started talking. "Your dad came to my house and told me about this gang that meets in the woods. He told me where it's at and told me to go there to meet him tonight. When he left I looked out my window and saw these men grab him and drag him into the woods. I followed them but saw your dad get on a bike. Logan, is your dad part of a gang?" I didn't want to tell him that he was because of how he reacted to me and Scarlet dating. I shook my head. "No. My dad said he would stop being in a gang. He wants to bring my family back together. What kind of bike? A bicycle or a motorcycle?" He shook his head. "A motorcycle. I'm telling you I'm not lying. I'm really sorry for getting upset about you and Scarlet."

He must've been really sorry since he said that and Jane was in the room. He turned around before she could say anything. "I'll explain later." He looked at me and frowned. "Sorry buddy." I put my head down and sighed. "Well, even if he is which I know he isn't, please don't do anything stupid." He nodded. Scarlet walked through the door. "Hey guys. You ok Logan?" I nodded. She walked over to me and put her arms around my neck. "Please, just act like nothing happened, okay?" He nodded.

He left a few minutes after and it was just Scarlet and I. We just sat on my mattress and I held her. "Why didn't you tell him that your dad is in a gang?" I looked at her confused. "You weren't in the room. How did you know?" She smiled. "You really think I wouldn't over hear you talking?" I smiled. "I didn't tell him because of how he reacted to when I told him that we were dating." She nodded. "Are you sure that they won't do anything stupid? I mean they are my friends but lately, Jackson has been distant from me. He never is. It's like he doesn't want anything to do with me." I cupped my hands on her face.

"Hey, I trust them and he's only distant cause, well, he did apologize for acting the way he did when I told him. Maybe you did something and you don't know what you did." She sighed. "What could I have possibly done to him?!" I was surprised that she got so mad. "Hey," I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. "I know there's something else. What's wrong?" She sighed. She shook her head. "You don't get it!" She yelled at me which made me jump. "What? What do I not get?"

"Me!"

Sorry this chapter is so short. I did this at school. Very hectic. Next one should be longer. Promise.
