Chapter 12: Happy Days

The next morning, as I step out of my house, I see a boy leaning at the wall beside my door and is looking at me. "Hey, don't look at me like that." I laugh.

Hyunjin then shows me the sweetest smile ever. Omagad I love them !!! We walk together to school and Hyunjin really makes me feel safe around him. Hyunjin said that his member are too late so he goes to company me first. Awwww.

As we reach school, many other boys are flirting with me. "I don't like it how they look at you" Hyunjin said while pouting.

I laugh and ask "Why??"

He then said, "They look like they are just messing with you" He changes his voice into a serious tone and I'm suprised. We then walk together to our locker. Since our locker is kind of far from each other I wait for him taking his stuff and he waits for me while I take my stuff. Our first class today is Literature. Kwon Saem is on a leave today because she had a fever so many of our classmates are sleeping, talking or doing stuffs.

"Let's go somewhere secret." Hyunjin asks me to go with him. I nod and he holds my hand. His hand are like babies. I blush as he continues to take me to an unknown place. We go up a couple of stairs. Some dark alley of school and here we are. The rooftop.

"This is my secret place. If one day I am missing, maybe I will be here. Who knows." He smiles.

"But I don't want you to be missing" I said which caught him off guard.

He smiles, "Just so you know if I'm not in class or toilets or so, search for me here. I sometimes don't want to hear what the teachers say". I laugh and we sit on a bench on the rooftop. There's no cctv or anything. Just the sky and us.

"Does anyone know this place?" He shakes his head.

"As far as I know this place, I've never see anyone or tell anyone about this place." He says while lookinh at me.

"Then why are you telling me?"

Hyunjin stops and continues, "Because you're special. I want you to know every details of me. There's other secret places out of school which I used to hang when I'm upset or angry. Those place holds certain memories for me". He smiles and look at me in the eyes. I want to know what happened into this boy before but I've to tell him something first so that he can open up his heart and pour it all on me.

I tell him that I don't have any secret hideout because I don't know much about Korea. "I even chose the wrong way to get to school, there's no way I will find a secret hideout," I tell him and laugh.

"It's okay, you can use my secret hideout until you find one yourself." I am shocked to hear what he said.

"No way, I've get you in trouble for so many times. I won't use this" He also told me that I can't tell anyone about this place and  we even had a pinky promise.

"Hey, is your hand okay?" I look at him and nod. I look at my elbow which I already washed them yesterday. It has a big bruise and scratch.

"It still hurt when I touch them but I'll be okay." I say and he gives me his popular eye smile again.

It is now lunch time and we both head to the café together. Hyunjin goes to his friends' group and I go to Jina and Euri. Today's lunch is kimchi, sponge cake, pancakes, rice and dumpling soup. It is so delicious. While I am eating, I feel like someone is watching me. I then look up and meet a pair of beautiful eyes, Hyunjin's. We both blush and look away.

After we finish eating, we put our tray in the box and head to our locker. We meet Stray Kids on the way going to locker and Changbin and the other bully Hyunjin with messing his hair, hitting his bottom and his stomach.

I laugh and Euri said, "What's going on with you two?" She asks suspiciously. I shake my head and open my locker to get Korean textbook. I heads to class but Hyunjin is not there. I sit at my seat and wait for others to get in as there are only a few girls who are on diet as they don't eat lunch at the café. I put my head on the desk getting drowsy after eating.

[Hyunjin's POV]

I go to the toilet to do my hair and fix my uniform. Ugh, hyung always bully me. And much more in front of Haneul. I then go to my locker and get in class. She's sleeping. I stop in my track. There are not many students in class yet.

I sit next to her and put away some strands of hair that gets in her face. I smile as I admire her face. She's so cute. I didn't know that the boys get in already and they start teasing me.

"Hyung, don't look at her like that. I saw lasers coming out" Jeongin said. I want to hit his ass off but I don't want to miss a chance watching Haneul's face so up-close. Instead, I just roll my eyes at him and they all laugh.

After watching her face for a while, Yoo Seonho from Chan Hyung's composing class come to me. "Omo she's so cute when she's sleeping. Mm sorry. Hyung, can you give this to her when she wake up soon?" He blushes and bow to me then run away. Seungmin looks at me weirdly and we both shrug.

Haneul wakes up and smiles at me. She said she wants to go to the toilet. I think she wash her face because when she get back, her hair and shirt are slightly wet. I smile at her cuteness. I hand her some tissues and she gladly accept it.

I hesitate to give her the letter. Maybe I was jealous. I put it inside her desk but if she doesn't take it, the cleaner will throw it away tomorrow.

Shinjae Saem gets in our class and teaches us. I'm not sleepy today maybe because I watch Haneul's face too long. I seem to can't forget about that sleeping face. I blush and thank god she didn't see it.

After class, we all pack our thing and I excitedly wait for Haneul at her locker and I see Jina gives a bunch of letter to Haneul. Ugh. Haneul sees me and quickly put those letter in her locker. She seems to be excited too to return home with me. It seems like we live together but the truth is, it's just the same building.

We reach home and I tell her to quickly get in as it is 7p.m. "I'll text you later" I wink at her and I can see her blushing. Arghhh so cute. I get in and nobody is home yet. Maybe they have extra classes. I take a shower and make sure to text her goodnight.
