Chapter 18: The Preparations

- Two Days Before The Actual Prom Night -

[Song Haneul's POV]

I go to a dress boutique with Euri and Jina to find a simple but fancy prom night dress. I don't know what color to choose but then I remember Hyunjin said that he will be wearing a white tuxedo with black inner shirt and black leather shoes.

I decided to look for a black dress. I found a very gorgeous black dress that falls just under my knee. The dress look elegant but simple at the same time. I won't be too noticeable during that night right ??? I buy that dress because it is beautiful and at the same time cheap. It is only 35,000 ₩ so I'm glad to buy it anyways.

Euri then buys a red dress that ends right before her knee that shows her beautiful leg while Jina buys a pinky princess-like long dress because she said she don't like showing off her own legs.

Then we move on to find shoes. I take a silver glittery heels. Jina buy a light yellow wedges and Euri buy black sandal that has a little bit of heels. We all find them easily as they are in the same mall that we go to find a dress.

We all stop by a magazine shop to buy a list of hairstyles people always use when going to a prom night. We went to Euri's house to try out some of the hairstyle because Euri really have a magic hand. She literally change her hairstyle everyday to school. She even can make braid perfectly on her own hair!!! I choose a hairstyle which have a sideway braid and Euri practices right away for me.

[Hwang Hyunjin's POV]

Chan Hyung ask me to buy a white tuxedo and white inner shirt so I just tell Haneul maybe we got the same idea and 'accidently' wear the same colour outfit that night. We all go to a mall near JYP Entertainment to buy our outfit. Some of us just want to wear jacket and shirt, but Chan Hyung says we, the youngster needs to buy a tuxedo because PD-Nim ordered so.

I succeed in buying a white tuxedo with black inner shirt. Chan Hyung gives me his silver bow as he said the bow suits the tuxedo well. All the other youngster get to buy their first and very own tuxedo. I also buy a black leather shoes with my own money as the tuxedo already cost enough to use PD-Nim's money. As soon as we get home, I try various style of hairstyle to look cool and handsome to impress Haneul that night.

As I get ready, I think that the night might be the best night for a confession. I ask Changbin, Chan, Woojin and Minho Hyung whether should I confess to Haneul or not. They said it is a good idea since we both will be really pretty and handsome that night. They ask me how to do it and I said I've got an idea since the first time I saw her at in the bus.

They all 'wow'ed at me and said that I'm a real gentleman. I practice in front of the mirror everytime I brush my teeth, everytime I do my hair every morning before going to school and while waiting at her. Actually I almost get caught the other day while practicing because she suddenly gets out from her house without me knowing. I then sleep and have a deep sleep to relax my mind and not be nervous in front of her the next night.

- A Few Hours Before The Actual Prom Night -

Haneul and I doesn't return home together today because we both want to suprise each other. We can actually go home at 3 p.m. something but we always had extra classes so we usually return home at five. Today, our English Teacher, Jamie Saem let us return home at 4:30 p.m. because some girls desperately want to be ready for the prom that will start at 8:30 p.m.

By getting ready I mean by having heavy makeup. I hope Haneul doesn't wear makeup, I mean it's okay to wear makeup but not too American style which is a very heavy makeup. I like it light and natural.

As soon as I reach home, Chan Hyung bought us some pasta from The Street and Haneul is taking a day off today from her part time job. I eat my pasta with Seungmin and Felix because our Hyung will get ready at the company. Jeongin and Jisung is having their meals at their own dorm. I quickly finish my pasta and take a shower. I scrub my body and put on a lot of my vanilla shower gel on my body. I make sure I cleanse my face throughly and scrub off all the dead cells on my face.

I finish shower and tuck my towel around my waist. I open my wardrobe and wear my boxers. Then I spray some Rexona deodorant with a manly smell. I wear my singlet and wear the slack that should be with the tuxedo. It fits perfectly with my legs and then I wear the black undershirt and put on the silver bow Chan Hyung gave to me last night. I haven't wear my tuxedo yet in case it gets dirty because it is white in color. I watch tv and play games in my phone while waiting for my dongsaengs to get ready.

[Song Haneul's POV]

I reach home near 5 p.m. as I want to let Hyunjin goes home first. I took a bus because I don't want to waste my energy for tonight. As I reach home, I hear some noises from Hyunjin's house. I hear Felix's and Seungmin's voice teasing Hyunjin about me. I hope Hyunjin do really like me.

I smile on the way to my doorway. I get in and quickly put down my things. I take a shower and wear my home shirt first as I don't have much to wear. I take a really long shower. I put a lot of shower gel on my body as I want to smell good in front of my partner. Oh, like I never want to become ugly in front of him?

After that, I open my bag and open the wrapper of a fried rice I bought on the way return home.

Then I hear my bell ring and I'm sure it is Euri and Jina so I quickly open the door for them. They get in wearing their daily shirts too and bring their dresses in with their accessories and shoes. I finish eating my fried rice by 6:15 p.m. They ask me to get ready so I go upstairs and wear my black dress. It fits my body perfectly and shows slightly of my curve. I head downstairs and they all look beautiful too after wearing the dress. I wear my bracelet Chanho gave me the first time I meet him as a gift. Euri opens her box of accessories and asked us to choose whichever we want to wear. I choose a gold necklace with love as my accessories.

Nearly 7 p.m., Euri starts her magic with doing our hairs. She has a ponytail with flowery hair band. She makes Jina's hair which is straight hair with pinned side. She pins her hair with a glittery hair pin. Lastly, she makes my hair. She make a sideway braid until the end of my hair and then adds a flower as a topping to my hair.
