Chapter 34: Mood

"Where are we going today?" He suddenly asks me as he sits next to me on the couch, watching Mnet Countdown.

"Hmm I don't know. Sending you to the company, and maybe I'll return to my training. Summer will be over soon." I say and he smiles.

"Do you know that this is the best summer break that I've had in my life?" He suddenly says with a cheeky smile on his face.

"Oh? And why is that?" I ask, out of curiousity.

"Because.. I've got a girlfriend, she spends time with me through the whole summer break. I'm so happy!!" He squels and suddenly kisses me on the cheek.

I cup my cheek and he moves his face closer.

"I know that this may not be your best summer, but I hope you won't get bored having me every day. Well, at school, at the company and so on. I know you've been through a lot and I don't want you to recall that. I hope you cherish every moment with me alright?," He says, putting aside my hair to the back of my ears. He looks at my face intensely, lower and lower until it reach my lips.

He looks at my lips pretty long time until I don't know how to react. He moves his face closer and closer, until our lips are just an inch of each other. One more movement and I'm sure we will kiss.

Dup dap, dup dap, dup dap *heartbeats*

"Can I?" He suddenly asks which caught me suprised.

I look at his eyes and slowly nod. This will be my first kiss if he really kiss me!

He moves closer to me and I almost feel his breath on my lips. I quickly close my eyes, not wanting to look at him. I feel nothing. This is too long.

I open my eyes with his face in front of mine, smiling sweetly. "I'm not sure if this is alright," He suddenly says in his smile.

"And.. why is that?" I ask.

"I don't know, I just think that you are not ready for this, let's just go to the company today, okay?" He says and gets up from the sofa.

What does he mean I'm not ready! He doesn't even try it! My heart breaks a million pieces. I was about to cry as I really hope it would be our- well, my first kiss. I don't really know whether he had kissed someone or not in the past. My heartbeats were like that for the first.

"Haneul-ah, let's go," He smiles and waits for me in front of the door.

"O-okay, you go first. I'll follow, I'm just go-gonna get my coat first. He nod and walks away. As I go upstairs to take my coat, I felt a tears on my cheeks.

"Make sure to be faster," He suddenly shouts and I quickly wipe my tears. I take my coat and head downstairs. "We'll take a bus today, is that okay with you?" He asks as we walk to the nearest bus stop.

I only nod. That situation just now have ruined my day and I don't even have a mood to practice today. Through the whole ride in the bus, I didn't even talk to him, or even look at him.

"Wahh that shop is new right? The one next to the small café? Don't you think so?" He asks, pointing to the window. I keep quiet. As soon as the bus reach our company, I quickly get up and go out. Before I could even get out from the line, Hyunjin grabs my hand and I fall back to my seat.

"Don't go yet." He says, half whisper.

I sit back, quietly. We didn't say anything.

"If you don't want to say anything, I'll go now," I say as I pick up my bag from the seat.

"Please, listen up," He says again.

"Well, Hyunjin. Maybe next time," I walk past him and walk out from the bus. I walk fastly as I don't want to hear him anymore. I didn't even use the lift, instead I use the stairs to go to my recording room.

I slam myself on the couch in the recording room. *knock knock* "Can I get in?"

"What do you want agai- oh, I'm sorry sunbaenim," I quickly bow to Mark from GOT7.

"I saw you were rushing here. Did something happened?" He says as he sits next to me.

"Oh, nothing. Not a big deal," I laugh it off but he seems not satisfied with my answer. Thank god that he didn't even asks any question as his member enters the room.

"Oh, Mark hyung? What are you doing with Haneul?" Jinyoung asks and Jackson smirks.

"Oh, hyung~ Don't tell me-"

"Yaa it's not what you think," Mark cuts Jackson before he could even say anything weird.

"By the way, what are you all doing here? In my record practice room?" I asks, curious.

Before they could answer, Park Jinyoung PD-nim enters the room. I quickly bows to him and he smiles widely to me.

"How are you Haneul? You look much better today," He says and I laugh.

"Well, I do feel better," I say and he continues to smile at me.

"You must've feel weird why they are in your record practice room right?" He stops. "The purpose is, I want you to make input in your songs based on their voice. So basically, you're composing their song. The differences between the normal composition with yours is.. this song is made 100% by yourself. If the song is a success to me and your sunbae, I will get ready to make comeback for them using the original song of yours," He says which caught my mouth slightly open.

"I-is this real? You're n-not kidding?" I stutter as I was really suprised. "When should I start? I'll work hard so please trust me," I bow a few times while saying 'thanks' to him.

"Oh, the base you gave me the last time. Use them for the base and you can add some electronic sounds if possible. Well, it's up to your creativity," He says, getting up and getting ready to go out.

"Thanks for trusting me," I say at him the last time before he leaves and suprisingly, he pats my hair and smiles like a proud father.

"Remember. This comeback is yours. Set up your own concept, lyrics, outfit, make-ups, hair and all. I trust you for this comeback. The faster, the better," He pats my shoulder and goes out.

I take a deep breath and turn my head to the members standing behind me. "So what are you doing here?" I smile at them.

"He told us to meet you. Maybe for the concept and all?" Yugyeom sunbaenim asks.

"Oh, sunbaenim. I haven't think about that. Please give me some time," I say, bowing to them.

"Aigoo, just call us by our names. It's okay, we'll let you think first. But can we exchange our numbers?" Jaebum says, holding his phone in front of me.

"Oh okay. I'll tell you when to come and see me as soon as possible," I take his phone and dial my number.

"I'll share the number later," Jaebum says and they all nod. They go out and now I'm left alone in the practice room.

I've got to do my best.
