Birthdays (part 1)

FYI there is a lot of talking in this chapter- sorry in advance

(Davids POV) (6 months later)
I woke up to Liza in my arms. A smile across her face, and it transferred to mine.

"Good morning baby." I kiss her forehead and see opens her eyes.

"Good morning bubba." A raspy voice replies. "Do you know what day it is?"

I shake my head. "It's April 1st." I smile.

Aria's birthday.

Liza gets up and walks over to the door. She looks back and motions for me to come with. I smile and get up, walking over to her. We walk downstairs and there are decorations all over.

"When did you do this?"

"Last night. I edited the vlog, posted it and my weekly video and hung decorations." I wrap my arms around her waist and set my head on her shoulder. The baby monitor lets out a cry, signaling Aria was awake. Liza grabs the camera and pulls me close to her.

"Good morning Babes! It's April 1st. Aria's birthday!! Right now David and I are going to go upstairs and get her because she just woke up. So let's go!" She handed the camera to me and I filmed her going up the stairs. She turned to me and gave me a hug at Aria's door.

"You ready?"

"Ready."

She opened the door- "Hey baby! Happy birthday!" She picked up Aria and held her, facing me.

"Good morning Ari." Liza gave me the look of are you kidding with that nickname. But I thought it was appropriate.

"Are you ready for your party?" Liza asked her.

"Right after nap." I noted to Liza. We smiled to each other and walked down the stairs.

Part two will be on Sunday. I am off school this week for thanksgiving so I can write a few more chapters!
