It was the day of the dance and Nick asked me a week ago. I grab my dress and put it I go out to Sarah who was wearing a red dress and cow girl boats. We look at each other and laugh. "We both look dumb." I said and she nodded and agreed. "But we look pretty too." She said and we laughed. We walked in the dance and there were people everywhere, I just spot Nick and August, Tyler and Sean. Me and Sarah walk over to them. "Hey boys!" Sarah said making me laugh. "Hey girls!" August says, we all look at him and he runs away. We all start laughing like crazy. A slow song came on and I looked at Nick. "Wanna dance?" He looked up and stuttered, "I'm not really a good-" "Come on!" I grab him and pull him to the dance floor, "Ahhhh." I put his hands on my waist and I put my hand on his shoulders and I was blushing like crazy. He chuckled. "What?!" He laughed again. "Your blushing." I blush even more. "No- no I'm not." He laughed again. After 5 minutes later I go into the bathroom and look in the mirror. I think to myself why would anyone be with me? That's gonna be my thought for the rest of the day. I go out and see Nick kissing another girl. "Nick.?" He pushes her of him. "Sydney wait don't go!" I run away to the dorm and lock my door. Ten minutes later and there was a knock at my door. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" I scream. "It's Sarah." I unlock the door and see everyone outside except Nick. "Where's Nick?" Sarah lowered her head. "He told us he better not come here since what happen." She said with a sad face. "Oh, well it's his fault." I was about to close the door but she grabbed it, "It wasn't him, it was Taylor." I look at her confused. "Taylor?" She shakes her head, "She's a new girl." I nod and close my door and go to sleep. I wake up and go into the kitchen and see Sarah and Nick talking as I walk by they look at me. When I reached the kitchen I started making eggs. "Is Sydney making breakfast again?!" August came out asking. "Not today this is for me." I said and grabbed my bowl and went to my room. "Hey Sydney can we talk?" A familiar voice said, it was Sarah. I open my door and she sat next to me, "Are you okay?" I shake my head no. "I can't go a day without thinking of him!" I screamed. She grabbed my hand pulled me outside and shoved me into Nick. "Oh hi." I hugged him tight. "I'm so sorry!" He hugged back. "It's okay." I looked at him and smiled, "I love you." He said. "I love you too." We all watch a movie on the couch and realize I fell asleep in nicks arms. I wake up after the movie and everyone else is asleep, I slip out undetected and went into the bathroom. I look in the mirror and start to cry, as I look at my phone there's a text.
