We decide to go to the beach just to relax for a bit from all the drama. We all go down and put our towels and stuff down and I take my shirt off and lay down to work on my tan. "Sydney come swim with us." I open my eyes and look at Sarah and Tyler standing above me. "Come on I'm not leavening you alone." I get up and walk over with them to see Nick and August splashing each other with water till I came over and Nick waved at me. I get in with them and we start having contest, "Okay I'm going back to our towels." I say and walk off. As I was walking back I saw a man looking at me the whole way I was walking. When I reached the towels I felt a arm on my shoulder, "Excuse me miss? Do you know where the bathrooms are." I point up the hill and she thanks me and walks away. When I looked back the man was gone, I sit down and put my headphones in and listen to music.
20 minutes later
"Sydney wake up!" I wake up and see Nick looking at me. "What?" He looked worried, "You wouldn't wake up so I kept shaking you but still nothing." I got up and looked at my arm and it was bleeding. "Ow geez what happen?" I asked. They all looked at each other and said that they don't know. We go back and watch a movie while Nick makes dinner. "Sydney can you come here really quick?" I get up and walk over to Nick. "Did you see that man that was starring at you?" I nod yes and help him with dinner, "Did he go up to you?" "No" He looks at me and grabs my hand. "If your hiding something you can tell me." I look at him and think about the text I got but I looked down and said, "I'm not hiding anything. Promise." He smiles, kisses my cheek and walks off. Little did I know that was the worst mistake of my life. After dinner I go in my room and see my arm is bleeding again. "What the heck?" Sarah said as she walks in. "Why are you bleeding again." She sits down and puts a rag on it. "I'm not sure maybe I hit my arm off something. Sarah can I tell you something that you can't tell to anyone? Even Nick." She nods and looks at me. "Before that guy was looking at me I got a random text from someone when I was crying in the bathroom and it said that I would stop crying soon." She was shocked as her eyes were wide opened. "That's scary!" I nod and she was still shocked. "Can you move in my room?" She nods and goes and asks to help move her stuff. "Why do you want to move in with Sydney?" Nick asked. She looked at me nervous and turned back. "So August could have his own room." August's eyes went wide. "I get my own room?! Yessssss!!" We all laugh as he runs into his new room. It was night time and everyone was sleeping except me I went out to the kitchen and decided to get a drink I open the cabinet and grabbed a class when I turn around I saw a shadow in front of me. "Miss me?" He said. I dropped the cup and it shattered. "Crap!" I said and when I looked up he was gone. Nick came running out and was shocked, he ran up to me and looked at the glass in the floor. "Are you okay?" "Yea I'm fine just need help getting out of the glass area." He lifted me up and carried me away from the glass. "What are you doing up this late?" He asked me when he sat beside me on the couch. "Can't sleep." That's all I said I didn't know what else to say to him. "Well do you want to watch a movie or something. "Yea I'll make popcorn." I clean up the glass make popcorn and finally sit down just as the movie started.
The next day
"Sydney, Sydney?" Nick said softly. "Sydney wake up." I groaned. "5 more minutes!" He chuckled and started tickling me which he know I hate. About 6 seconds later I woke up laughing. "S-Stop it." He stopped and chucked. I get up and get changed for school and when I walk out I smell bacon. "Hey you mind cutting onions?" Sean asked. I walk over and start cutting onions but when I looked up and saw the shadow again. "You'll see me soon." "Sydney?" I and when I look down I see me cut my finger, "OW!" Nick came running over to me and held my hand up. "Are you okay?!" I pull my hand away. "I'm fine!" I go in the bathroom and treated my cut. "What's wrong with her?" I hear Nick ask. "I'm not sure." Sarah said. *knock knock* "What are you doing here?!" I heard sarah tell. I walk out and see Taylor standing there, I walk over and slap her. "What the heck?!" She yelled. "You tried to break me and Nick up!" She looked at me and chuckled, "And I plan to that's why I came here to see Nick!" I slammed the door closed and ran in my room. "Sydney?" I headed Nick ask. "Are you okay?" I open my door and hug him. "I need to tell you something." I said to him. I explained to him every that happened with the shadow and all that. He was shocked and mad that I hided that from him but he was calm after. "Why didn't you tell anyone?" I looked at Sarah and looked back at him. "Well I did tell Sarah." He looked at me with a sad face. "I don't want you going anywhere without anyone." I looked at him with a grumpy face. "What's next a babysitter?" He laughed. "Maybe."
