Aidan POV
My phone vibrates in my pocket bringing me out of the movie induced daze I had quickly become accustomed to.
"What's the sitch?"
My best friend's laughter sounds garbled through the phone connection. "I do have news actually, but you're not gonna like it."
I gulp. "Okay, spit it out Ali!" (A/N pronounced ah-lee)
"Alright you asked for it, Isaac is moving."
"What?!" I clutch the fabric of my worn and well loved couch for dear life.
"He's moving two towns over on Valentines Day, so if you're going to make a move I say do it now."
Our conversation ends after a few minutes. Now this is probably where I should explain a few things. Let me introduce myself. Hi my name is Aidan Fischer. I'm seventeen years old and hopelessly in love with the smartest, cutest, boy in my grade. His name is Isaac Daniels. It wasn't the gentlemanly-holds-the-door-open-for-girls-chivalry-hasn't-died-yet attitude that did me in, nor was it the air of wisdom he carries around. It wasn't the way his eyes always expressed his emotions along with his face, no. It was his smile. His all natural holding-nothing-back, true-and-perfect smile. Now let me introduce my close-enough-to-be-my-sister best friend. Her name is Ghalyia Shahid. No, not Dahlia. Ghalyia. With a G. She's the craziest, funniest, bestest friend in the universe. We are perfect for each other. She is the yin to my yang, in both physical appearance, and personality. And this is the story of one crazy ass seventy two hours before my seventeenth Valentines Day. The one time I was hell bent on getting my crush of four years to notice me.
