Aidan POV
"I can't believe that actually happened!" I stretch my arms above my head while setting a book of Shakespeare's greatest works on Isaac's doorstep.
Ali giggles. "Neither can I!"
She scatters rose petals over it. I tuck the calling card neatly into the book sticking out just slightly to catch his attention. I hear the familiar sound of rubber crunching on gravel. I crane my neck to see whom the vehicle belongs to. My heart stops.
"Oh, my God! Ghlayia he's coming!"
She immediately stops what she's doing. "Let's get outa here!"
We quickly run through the bushes between the Daniel's home and their neighbor's. I duck behind the corner of the next house waiting patiently. He climbs out of the car agonizingly slow. He takes his time getting to the door. Isaac's smile turns into a look of shock as his head whips this way and that looking for whoever did this.

Isaac POV
The secret admirer strikes again. This time at my home. The front stoop is decorated with paper hearts and the petals of red roses. I feel the tips of my ears getting unbearably hot. I finally notice a book sitting underneath all of the petals and hearts. Shakespeare's Greatest Works, Plays, Sonnets, and Poems. Did she actually buy this for me? I wonder. I heave the heavy volume up into my arms and a small folded piece of paper catches my eye. I pull it out of the cover. Painstakingly I unfold the simple piece of notebook paper.
Isaac,
You got my letter this morning, I truly hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it. This wonderful gift was not bought. In case you missed my earlier reference to our pal Will I am lending you this, my favorite volume, it'll be in there, Sonnet 30 if you are curious. As much as I care for you I simply cannot bear to part with this masterpiece permanently. I do hope you understand. Enjoy.
Yours forever and always,
Anonymous
P.S. Good luck finding anything about my identity in there.

I laugh at the last bit. She totally read my mind!
"Ooh, what's that?" My best friend asks looking over my shoulder.
"Nothing, Oliver."
"'Yours forever and always, anonymous?' Damn dude. Why do you always get the good ones?"
I shake my head. "Oliver I don't even know who she is!"
"She obviously knows you. And save some for the rest of us Romeo."
