I was still waiting for Steve to call me. I began to grow very anxious and nervous, to which I had been laying in bed, waiting for his call.
Then, I wasn't nervous anymore. The phone started ringing and ringing. I picked up the phone and answered it.
"Hello" I said.
"Hey, it's Steve" Steve answered.
"Hey" I said.
"So, you wanted to talk?" Steve asked.
"Yeah, why have you been asking about me lately?" I asked him.
"I have been thinking lately" Steve said.
"About what?" I asked.
"You" Steve replied.
My heart started to race inside my chest. I was surprised to hear say that.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes" Steve said.
"I have been thinking about you too" I added.
"You have?" Steve asked me.
"Yes" I said.
My heart raced even more and more. I wondered how this was going to go.
"What is it that you like about me?" I asked Steve.
"Your beautiful, sweet, warm-hearted, and the best girl that I've ever known" Steve said.
I started to tear up, a little bit. I was touched by Steve's words.
"What do you like about me?" Steve asked me.
"Your handsome, kind, you protect me, and your very good to me" I said.
Steve was silent on the phone for a second. I could tell that Steve was touched by my words.
"Hey, your birthday is tomorrow" Steve said.
"Yes" I said.
"What are you going to do?" Steve asked me.
"We are having a party here at Stark Tower" I replied.
"Cool" Steve said.
"Can you come to the party?" I asked him.
"Yes, of course I will" Steve answered.
"Great!" I said, happily.
We continued to talk on the phone for a while. The conversation was going great.
"Well, I better got to sleep, party tomorrow" I said.
"You do need your sleep" Steve said.
"Yeah" I said.
"I will see you tomorrow" Steve said.
"See you then, goodnight" I said.
"Goodnight" Steve said.
We hung up the phone. I laid down in my bed, and closed my eyes. I went to sleep, thinking about Steve. I was excited to see Steve, that next day. The party was going to be great.
