I look out the window at all the pretty trees passing by. Momma and Daddy said we're moving into a new house today. I'm so excited, I hope my room is big!
"Okay kids we're almost there!" My momma says. I clap lightly since my baby sister is asleep in her car seat.
Daddy slows down the car and pulls into a long driveway. I look up at the house and I say "Wow!"

I hurry to open up my door since my parents are taking too long. I race up the step and I make it to the front door.
I turn the door knob but nothing happens.
"Help!" I yell out.
My parents both look at me and laugh. "That's what you get for not waiting patiently."
Finally after a lot of minutes Momma and Daddy walk up to the front door with sissy in my Momma's arms.
"Okay family, here's our new home." Daddy says unlocking the door and I push it open.
I race into the house and I stare at everything.
"It's so big." I say opening my arms wide as I run towards the stairs.
"Be careful Ariella!" My parents yell behind me. I run all the way down the hallway and I open the last door on the left.
"Oh my gosh!" I say covering my mouth as I look around.
"Ariella?" I hear my momma say.
"Momma!" I say running up to her as soon as I see her. I hug her leg as I look up at her.
"This room is two times as big as my old room was."
"So I'm guessing this is your room sweetie." she says stroking my hair.
"Yes!" I say jumping up and down.
"Okay sweetie! This will be your room." she says as I hear Daddy yell downstairs.
"Honey the moving truck is here!"
"Come on sweetie let's help move in some stuff." Momma says picking me up.
When Momma and me get downstairs I see two big guys carrying in a big grey couch.
"Where does this go, sir?" the guy with the beard says.
"Right through there gentlemen." Daddy says pointing down the hallway.
The moving guys nod and they walk down the hallway.

After a few hours of moving things into the new big house I'm tired. My sissy woke up from her nap now I'm in the floor playing with her. I hear a knock at the door and Momma goes to answer it.
"Oh hello." Momma says.
I hear some other people talking but I don't pay much attention. I have to watch sissy because Momma says she can fall over sometimes since she just learned how to sit up.
"Honey, come meet our neighbors from across the street." Momma says to Daddy. I see my Daddy walk by us and he starts talking to them as well.
"Please come in. We have a daughter that's around your children's age." Daddy says.
I hear footsteps and a few seconds later I see a woman with a man.
"That's our daughter Ariella and the little one is Jill. Ariella come here sweetie." Momma says.
I walk up to Momma and Daddy but I hide behind my Momma's leg.
"Ariella this is Mark and Sarah Jacobs. Those are their children Jessica and Alex." she says pointing to the girl and boy behind them.
"Say Hi sweetie." Daddy says.
"Hi." I say softly and I hide my face in my Momma's leg.
"She's adorable. How old is she?" The lady Sarah says.
"I'm six." I say holding up the same amount of fingers.
"Really? Jessica is the same age! Alex is a little over a year older then you both." she says and I look at Alex. He looks back at me and we both smile at each other.
