Chapter 16

Hi guys, this is just going to be a very short filler chapter. Sorry that I didn't update this for a while. But I have a lot of stuff to deal with. I just didn't get a lot of HW today, I really lucked out, that means tonight I don't have to stay up 'til 3 am doing HW and assignments.

I really really like this song. Sorry if it doesn't go good with the chapter, but I suck at finding songs that match the theme of my books. I can only ever find a song to match long after the chapter is done. Like how only recently found songs that fit the chapters of the first Edd x Eddy book 😑. Anywho, I hope you enjoy this chapter.

Oh, and my original choice for the song of this chapter was Chloe (you're the one I want) by emblem3, but then I realized that it doesn't really fit the theme at all. But yeah, if you like the song Chloe more than the song intoxicated, listen to that one instead, or listen to both. Both are on my playlist.

(Eddy's p.o.v)

So for whatever reason Edd said that he wants to wear a wedding dress to our wedding, because I love him, I chose to question him about it or even to simply ask him why. I said I would take him to look for a wedding dress but he said it was bad luck to see the dress before the wedding? Since when does he believe superstitions? Anyways, he also said that he wants to hold off the wedding until after he gives birth because he doesn't want to look fat in his wedding dress. I basically just nodded and said yes to his whole rant on how he wanted a dress for the wedding and why the wedding had to be after the birth. After that he gave me a big hug, kissed me, and ran up the stairs like an exited child. He's also been really emotional lately. Sometimes he'll get upset and start crying, then he'll eat a pint of ice cream, and then he'd cry even more saying things like now he's fat and ugly. I feel bad, I hate seeing like this. My poor poor baby.

Right now we're laying down on the couch and watching the movie Moana for the 4 th time. He said he wanted to watch this movie so I just agreed.

Edd shifted his body and cuddled up on my chest. I wrapped my arms around hind and planted a kiss on top of his scar.

(Edd's p.o.v)

Me and Eddy were watching the movie Moana..again.
He said that we already saw it "a million times". But then he he put in the movie anyways.
I'm glad I found someone who puts up with my love of Disney movies.
Last year, for Halloween, I even I dressed up as snow white......

(Costume flash back)

Arden said it would be perfect since I already have black hair and pale skin.

When I dressed up in it Lori laughed and then said,
"Lips red as a rose, hair black as ebony, skin white as snow, and they call him Edd White."

Like I was saying before.. I'm glad I found someone who puts up with me. Lately I've been a total train wreck, and he hasn't even complained once. I'm just a nuisance, I don't deserve him... And he doesn't deserve to be stuck with someone like me.

"Edd, baby what's wrong?" He paused the movie.

"Huh?"

"You're crying, what happened? Are you ok? It isn't even a sad part of the movie."

I felt my cheek only to find that I was in fact crying. He looked genuinely concerned about me.
"W-why?"
"Why what?" He said. "Did I do something? If I did just tell me."

"No, you didn't do something." I wiped some of my tears. "I'm the one who did something."
I could see his facial expression changing between a few different negative emotions, but I couldn't decipher what he was feeling.

"What-what do you mean? What did you do?" He could see him become all tense.

"Why do you put up with me? I'm useless, all I do is cry and complain, I'm a burden." His expression turned into a soft, but still worried one.

"No, Edd, don't say that about yourself, it isn't true" he picked me up and put me on his lap. "You're not a burden at all. And I love you, I don't just put up with you, if anything, you're the one who puts up with me."

"W-what do you mean?"

"Babe, let's be honest, I'm far from perfect, I'm not mr. Smooth or mr. Tall tan and handsome, like those people you see in those commercials about axe body spay."

"..what on earth are you trying to say?"

"I don't even know myself. But like I said before, I love you, and I don't want to here you put yourself down. And you're not a burden, if you were, I would've never asked you to marry me. Promise me you'll stop putting yourself down?"

I sniffled a bit.

"Ok Eddy. I'll try my best not to."

"Good. Now do you want me to un-pause the movie?" I nodded my head and laid back down. "Ok." He said with a smile.
