Chapter 29

(A/N: Sorry for not updating in a what? A month? I may or may not have become somewhat depressed. I don't know why I told you that... Oh well! Also, I couldn't think of a name, I tried letting the readers decide by voting, but hardly anyone voted. Why do I even do votes?! They never work! Anyways, I let my sister pick a name instead. Oh, and this will be a shot chapter. )

(3rd person p.o.v)

"Well, I was thinking about the name... Dylan. And her middle name will be Lyra. Dylan Lyra Reese."

"I think that's a perfect name" Eddy said with a smile.

"Dylan?! Are you kidding me?! That sounds like a boys name!!" Sarah said angrily. Everyone, except for Jimmy and Ed shot her a 'shut the fuck up kid' or a 'really?!' Look.

Eddy gave her a death glare that instantly shut her up. "Never mind, Dylan's good..." She grumbled under her breath.

Dylan giggled and reached out for her new dads, Edd and Eddy smiled at her in awe.

"Awe, she's such a little cutie." Nazz beamed.

"Yeah, now get out." Eddy said in a fake happy tone still looking at the baby and not directly at Nazz "all of you".

Nazz's smile faltered and everyone got out of the room one by one.

Later Dr. Donovan came back and explain that Dylan was abnormally small for a new born, newborns usually weigh 6-10 pounds after being born, but Dylan barely weighed 5 pounds. Other than that she was healthy and had not signs of any disease or illnesses. They just had to be extra careful with her and if they notice anything unusual with her, especially since his birth was...unlike usual births being that he is a cisgendered male and gave birth naturally without c-section. That they must bring her back yo the hospital or to their special Doctor (one who specializes with make pregnancies).

They thanked him and he left.

They looked at their new baby lovingly. "She looks like you, you know that?" Eddy told Edd.

"Well she has your eyes, and from what I can see, your hair colour too."

"We don't know that yet, she's pretty much bald."

"But look at the baby hairs." He giggled.

"We both have dark hair, we don't know."

"It looks more brown like yours."

"Well, it doesn't matter, she's still adorable, like her mommy."

"Hey! I'm male too you know." Edd laughed covering his mouth.

Eddy pulled the baby bag that was resting in the floor near them just invade they needed it.

"I've only known her for less than an hour and I'm already in love!" Edd beamed.

"I think I am too." He laughed. "Isn't that how it's supposed to be?" Edd nodded quickly.

"I can't wait! I'm going to buy her ice cream and dresses and toys and take her too the park!"

"That's great baby but remember we can't spoil her or she won't turn out to be a nice and well behaved person like we want."

"Giving her a happy childhood isn't spoiling her! And she will be a nice person!"

"I know, I know, you'll probably be the strict parent."

"What! Why?!"

"Because, you're the one who's all "leave your shoes at the door!" And "stop! That's unsanitary" and "watch your language!" You're already a natural at parenting."

Edd had a red face, he didn't know if he should be insulted, or flattered.

"Then what kind of parent are you going to be?"

"Me? I'm going to be the chill parent. Is t that right Dylan?" Dylan just smiled and made baby noises.

"You? 'Chill' ? You are anything but chill. Don't you remember when poor Isaac spilt some juice on the couch. You were all 'MY COUCH! I spent good money on that couch!' " he giggled.

"He wrecked the couch."

"It was just a tiny spill, for Christs sake Eddy, the child was only 3, you made him cry." Eddy blushed with embarrassment.

Edd giggled and kissed Eddy's cheek. "It's ok Eddy. Isaac doesn't even remember that happening." Eddy nodded still flushed.

Later the doctor came back and told Edd that he would have to stay in the hospital for a week to make he was all healed up and that he was okay to leave. Even though the baby was healthy, it would Sean that Edd had a medical history. They checked his record and found out that a couple years back he was in a coma and that he had spent some time in the hospital before that. Edd nodded. Eddy was upset though, that would mean that he would have to leave his fiancé and newborn kid for a while. Plus, he had work the next day so he'd only be able to visit them at nights. The doctor apologized and left the new family alone.

"It's ok Eddy, it's for the best. And it's only for a week." Edd kissed Eddy on the lips, Eddy coupes his cheek.

"You're beautiful, you know that right?" He whispered softly looking into his eyes. Edd blushed and smiled. "I love you Eddward."

"I love you too Eddy."
