A Deadly Attraction

"So, (Y/N), ho was your first night at the Hyuga mansion?" Asked Hiashi. I heard you had a night terror." The attention of the long table shifted to me.
"Uh... Yeah... It wasn't anything major tho. Just a small nightmare." I looked down at my plate and began silently eating. Getting the hint, Hashish had changed the subject. 
"So, Elder Aie, how do you like it here?" I slowly lost interest in the conversation and focus on nothing in particular, except the events from earlier.

   "Stuck in a dark room, huh?" Said a familiar voice. I looked over to see Neji leaning on the open door. I felt my face go red with embarrassment with a side of anger. "Breakfast will be ready soon." He said as he walked off. I stared at the spot where the brunet once stood, and proceeded to throw a pillow at him.  
Why did he have that stupid mocking grin on his face? Him and his stupid face, and stupid hair, and stupid lander eyes, standing there in my door way, looki- wait a second. What was Neji doing in my room in the first place? Did he see Elder go in? Did he hear me fall off the bed? Wait, does that mean h-

"A-are you ok?" Said a faint voice." It was Hinata. 
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Y-you sure?"
I let out a sigh with a soft smile. "Yes I'm sure, Nightmares suck. that all." Hinata chuckled at that and agreed.

"... Yes, (Y/N) is the strongest member of you clan."

"what?" I said, immediately sitting up, looking over at who was talking. It was Elder Aie. I notices that sentence also caught the attention of a certain brunet.

"You dear. I was telling Hiashi about how you are the strongest member of out clan." I stared at her with a blank face. "Well surly that cannot be correct, I'm sure there is someone stronger than me." I said, looking around at the other clan members. they all has exchanged glances but agreed. "Oh, well then.." I said semi-bashfully. Wow, If I'm the strongest member of the clan, And I'm pretty crap at offence, then no wonder the clan is so small.

"Well, that is a great feat indeed." Said Neji with blank eyes, mindlessly eating his bowl of rice. Wow, thanks... I excused myself from the table and went to my room. I pulled out my bandages and began re-wrapping my arms until I heard my door slide open.

"Lets go."

"Well a good merry morning to you to, Neji" I said sarcastically at the brunet standing in my door way. He furrowed his brown and quickly looked down.

"Good morning, Lets go." He said, turning heal and walking away.

"Are you going to tell me where we're going?" I hollered at him. No reply. Grrrrrrr...... I am so done with his sass. I stood up, garbed my small pouch with some antidote flowers in it, and walked out into the hall scanning for the boy. I tuned down a hallway, thinking I had seen him tun the corner, but inevitably realized i was lost. 

"Shit, why does this mansion have to be so big..." I mumbled to myself. "Hello?" I hollered out. No response. "Great!" I half shouted. I sat up against the walls and tried to mental plan out where i was. So... I got out of my room, tuuurneedd right, I think. and then left? Maybe? Ug.... 

"(Y/N)?" I heard Neji's voice, ever so faintly. I looked up, not seeing him within my immediate field of view. "(Y/N)." I heard it again. This time i stood up and followed it aground a corner, running straight into Neji. 

"What are you doing in the west wing?" He said in a flat tone.

"Being lost from an immediate lack of directions from a brunet earlier." I said, with just a hint of venom in my words.

"stop complaining. You didn't end up in the pit so you're fine." He said turning

"Wait, you guys have a pit?" I said standing up, catching the smallest glance of a smirk at thee corner of his lips. I trailed behind him, being no more than arm's length away from him, not wanting to get anymore lost. He turned a final corner and we were greeted to the sight of a beautiful training grounds.

"Whoa, you guys have your own training grounds?" I asked. Neji stared at me like I was a dumb ass.

"Yes, we have our own training grounds, as you can obviously see." I looked around, amazed at the fact that the Hyugas had so much stuff and wealth.

"Are you ready?" I turned around to see Neji standing in the center of the grounds in a fighting stance. 

"Wait, you want me to fight you?" Again, he stared at me like I was a dumb ass.

"Well you know what, you could have said that we were going to train literally any time before or even during us walking here so I don't wanna hear it from you or your cute face." The last part completely slipping past my lips without me noticing. Shit

I wrapped my hands with extra wrappings, then made my way to the the center of the ring, standing a few feet away from Neji, a light pink dusting his cheeks. "You ok?" I asked, pointing out his cheeks. He quickly looked up and rubbed his face with hands. "I'm fine. Lets begin."
