God, I'm so tired. I've never practiced on someone who was that strong. "Ughhhh..." I groaned into my pillow, rolling ont my side as my arms began to ache. I heard the door opened but wa to lazy to look. "Who is i-"

"Why did you do that?" It was Neji

"One, do what? Two, Neji you gotta work on your manners, that the forth time y-

"Why did you through the match between me an you?" He said with a low growl. 

"I never threw anything, I ju-" I rolled over to my side and sat up to face Neji, but was faced buy what looked almost like a god. He had shorts on, a shirt in one had he was putting on, His hair was down and considerably wet, and he wasn't wearing his headband, revealing his mark. 

"Are you going to answer my question, or just let your jaw hit the floor?" He asked as if nothing was wrong. I glared and turned my back towards him. "I didn't throw the battle, I just went out on my own terms." I said turning around, taking off my arm wrappings

"Why?" Little did i know, he had taken a step closer to my bed.

"Because i thought it would be better to go out on a timed push then a chest instead of it escalating and getting hit full force in a vital organ." I said, putting the bandages in the bed side table. "Now I have a question for you, How did you take a shower so fast? We ended the battle literally 10 minutes ago."

"Wouldn't you like to know." He said under his breath, meaning to be snarky remark. "Wait, that wasn't meant to so-" I threw a pillow at him and giggled. His stern expression melted away and it became that of a smile. "Mine now." He said as he booked it out the door. 

"NEJI!!!" I yelled after him, chasing him down the hallway. "THATS MY ONLY PILLOW!!"

"THEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE THROWN IT!" He yelled over his shoulder, turning down a hallway, sliding away in his socks. He booked it down a wood-floored hallway, I chased after him in my bare feet. He went to turn a corner but slipped

"I've got you now!" I shouted as I dove for the falling Neji, saving him but then rolling into a wall, leaving an audible thud.

He laughed and stood up. "Are you ok?" He said a smile grazing his lips. He was so pretty I almost forgot the fact that I couldn't breathe. I rolled over and took in a deep breath.

"Damn, that hurt worse than when you hit me." I said, supporting myself with one hand while the other cradled my pillow. "Wait a minute..." I said looking up at him. He had a look of 'I TOTALLY don't have any idea what you're talking about' on his face. He shrugged and helped me up, making a cheesy attempt at grabbing the pillow. I laughed and held it tighter as I looked around. "Do you have any idea where we are?" I asked. "You are in the North wing." Said a maid, making me jump. I didn't realize how close to Neji I was and ended up bumping into him. That's when I looked down and remembered that I had taken my arms wraps off. I immediately clasped my hands behind my back and took a step back, slightly behind Neji. 

"Um, Thank you."

"No problem." The servant said with a smile. Apparently, Neji had realized my arms and my slight step back. His demeanor changed and he seemed almost confused. 

"Why is it that you are so scared of people. You're the most poisonous of your clan but I felt absolutely nothing when our skin touched. If I can handle it, it cant be that bad, right?" He turned around and looked at me. I looked down and began fidgeting with my fingers. "It is actually. I've gotten several of my own people sick before..."

He gave me a look that said he didn't quite believe me, so I went outside to the garden with him. "Which one of these plants, do you believe is the most resilient?" I asked. He seemed confused but picked a plant. 

"The Daylily. It can tolerate flooding, drought, salt and can grow up to 4 feet high having over two feet of foliage around it." He said pointing to a gorgeous yellow and red Lilly. I crouched down next to the plant and slowly reached forward my hand.

Neji's P.O.V.

"Whoa," I said taking a step back. (Y/N) had barely touched one of the flower's petals with her fingers when the flower curled and coiled up, turning a dark brown color and began to sizzle as the rest of its stem followed soon. It took no less than 3 minutes for that gigantic bush to be reduced down to nothing but a wilted pile of leaves.

"Y-yeah..." She said, her hands in her lap. I didn't know what to say. Soon my mind was flooded with thoughts. What was her childhood like? Do her other clan mates fear her? Wait, she's gotten some of her own team members sick, that- Fore some reason my body had moved on its own, without my consent. Before I knew it, I was kneeling down before (Y/N), embracing her in a tight hug. I felt my face grow warmer as she sat there stiff from shock for a second, then returned the hug, whispering a small thank you. She seemed to fit almost perfectly against me, making me not want to let go for a long time. So we sat there, Her cradled in my arms for what seemed like forever.
