A man who looks to be in his thirties stared at the mirror, at his own reflection. He looked at himself, orange skin, green color of his hair, moustache, beard, and ponytail.
His name is Canter Zoom.
He was the director of the Daring Do films that recently came out, Things were going fine, He revived the Daring Do franchise, a franchise that's been going on since the 70s. Daring Do was a classic, and was directed by a guy so similar to his looks.
He hired and let his niece to be his Gofer, she would prepare the set, hand him the car keys, help the cast get ready, etc, etc, more stuff.
He casted Chestnut Magnifico as Daring Do herself, she was perfect to take the role of the adventurer. Though as far as I know, she seems like a selfish woman, one of those selfish and rich hollywood actresses.
But it never bothered Canter, never before. Because he seems like one hinself, an ignorant douchebag. His niece wanted to be Daring Do for some reason. His niece wanted to become a star, so that people'll like her.
She begged Canter, but he never liked the idea. Canter thought his niece Juniper wouldn't excel in acting and be a good one to portray the adventurer Daring Do.
Canter also brought in the cast a group of seven teenage girls, just like his niece, but younger. Yep, they were the Mane 7. He casted them as people in the background, this one scene where Daring Do is at an egyptian-like village, and some of the people there are played by most of them.
He didn't though. Something went wrong on the set, his niece seemed to have pulled a prank on set. Trying to sabotage the film by taking and hiding the props, He never really understood Juniper. Just like I said, he's ignorant.
Canter left the bathroom, finished staring at his self at the mirror. He lived in a big house, perhaps a mansion. He went downstairs and sat his ass on his white couch, facing the huge flatscreen tv.
Canter grabbed the remote and turned the huge advanced television on. His living room wasn't so messy, cuz he's a director, he got rich.
Flashed on the TV was nothing but news, like always. But the news flashed that Detectives are heading to investigate the case of the murder and find the killer.
Canter didn't really care, as he knows that this killer couldn't just suddenly be here and kill him by slicing his throat open, as he sat on his couch.
Canter looked around the living room, still assuring.
Many minutes later, Canter went out by the front door and walked in the front of his mansion, it was a small garden, with huge orange sidewalks. He held his wine glass, gently moving it as he walked. Drinking it.
Canter suddenly saw a delivery truck coming by, he started to think someone had ordered something. But turns out this package was for him, he went over to the gate and pressed the button that opened it. Letting in the delivery truck.
"Hey, what do you got for me?" Canter asked the delivery man.
"Oh erhm- a package sir!" The delivery man answered.
The delivery man remembered. He is supposed to greet a hollywood bigshot with respect.
"Good evening, Mr Zoom!" Delivery man said. Canter just nodded.
The other delivery man got out of the truck from the passenger's seat and opened the back of the truck. In Canter's eyes, this delivery man took out a rectangular box. A package, of course.
"Here, Mister. I think it's from a friend." The other delivery man said. The delivery men left, leaving Canter suspecting the rectangular package. He used his nail to tear off a small portion of the package's wrapping. It revealed a yellowish color, he tore it more, revealing that it could be a yellow box of toys. Smh.
The small hole Canter tore in revealed the inside of the package to be what looks like a toybox. Canter sighed arrogantly, "This must be some goddamn joke." He said.
Canter brought the package in with him into the big house. He left it on the living room couch, then he checked the time.
11:32
It was almost the middle of the night, so Canter switched off the TV, then went upstairs to lay on his bed.
The package twitched and moved in the living room. While Canter just slept in his bedroom. The package fell down on its side, then a hole in it was cut open. Chucky crawled out, this Chucky is the one Starlight saw in her vision.

Chucky looked around the dark mansion, he was in a mansion again. He looked at the picture frames that were on the coffee table, one wide picture had Canter and his whole family. The second picture frame, abit smaller, was a picture of Canter and Juniper, in their younger years. Canter is a young adult in the picture, that was before he became a director. And there was a child there too, A seven-year-old Juniper.
"Such a nice and happy family." Chucky said, letting his voice sound out in the spacy mansion.
"But.. not for long." Chucky said as he stared at his voodoo knife. A knife that had red print on it's blade, giving it an ability to kill people via voodoo dolls.
Chucky killed someone with a voodoo doll once, his own instructor, But he didn't really care.
