Part 16: A Sunset From Another World

"Whoa!"
Another orange-skinned high-schooler with bacon hair stepped out of a blue warping portal. "Alright! What time was this time? I mean uhh.. when was this?" She said, lowering her head down, talking to someone on her watch.

Who's this girl? She is Sunset, from another universe. And she has come here to help the other version of her. We can call her 'AU Sunset'.

"October 2017? You know, that time when Chucky sent down some meteors." The person she was in contact with said. "Wait, what? I don't remember that." Sunset said.

"I almost forgot to tell you! This is an alternate universe!" The person said. "Alright, copy that." Sunset replied, as the portal behind her closed.

"So.. meteors falling down to earth moving in.. how many meters per hour? I dunno how to do the science.." AU Sunset told herself and looked at the red sky.

"Time to save the world like Jenny did!"

Then she flew up to the red sky, pointing with her fist like Superman. This Sunset wields a gauntlet, a gauntlet that can manipulate.. or create fire, and it can also give her the ability to fly.

Sunset flies up fast, speeding to punch the meteors and break them all into bits.

I'ma turn those meatballs into meatbits!
She thought.

"Wait.. what's that thing that's going up the sky?" Rainbow noticed the figure flying up the sky, which also gained the attention of the others.

"Maybe it's one of Storm King's friends?" Twilight guessed.

Sunset's speed grew constantly faster as she flew up the sky, and with her incredible speed, she got out of the earth's atmosphere and has reached space. Now she has the perfect opportuniy to smash the meteors into pieces.

"Ooh! My dad always wanted to be an astronut!"

Sunset saw a meteor coming at her, she flew towards this meteor and pointed her fist at it. And as the meteor and her strong gauntlet touched, the meteor got smashed into tiny pieces. "I smashed him. It's a good thing he didn't get to smash me." She said.

More meteors were coming. Now it was kinda like a tennis game thing, but instead of smacking the balls back to your opponent, you smash them into pieces.

Sunset aimed her fist at two incoming meteors, and the gauntlet blasted off her hand like a rocket. Charging towards the meteors, breaking through them. Then later went back to Sunset's hand.

"Good gauntlet.' Sunset rubbed the metal glove. Then punched the other meteors into bits before even passing her.

"Did anyone see the figure that flew up the sky?" Storm King asked his superfriends. "Was that this Sunset Shimmer girl you were talking about?" The blonde boy asked.

"What? Nope. It can't be her." Storm King said. Obviously not knowing that the figure they saw fly up the sky was Sunset from an alternate universe.

"Anymore meteors coming?" AU Sunset rubbed her glove again and looked around. "Good thing I can breathe in space." She said.

Then she waited.. for minutes.. waiting for more meteors to come, she crossed her arms as she waited. "What's taking so long?" She asked herself.

"Seems like no more meteors are coming." She realized. "I guess that mesns my work here is done!"

"Where did all the meteors go?" Rainbow Dash said, in confusion. "Why? Did they sorta dissappear?" Starlight asked RD. "Yeah."

"Maybe the person that we saw flying to space stopped them. Could that person be another hero?" Sunset asked. "Possibly.. maybe that person.. whoever she is, flew up from earth.. and into space.. and possibly destroyed the meteors." Twilight said.

"Is she coming down yet?" Applejack asked. Starlight looked at the sky "Doesn't look like there's anybody coming down." She said.

AU Sunset awaits for more meteors to come, with crossed arms. "Bring it on, Damballa. Send more of your meteor friends." She said. "Oh come on, Damballa. Don't be shy."

Meanwhile.. Flash Sentry is still possessed by a part of Chucky's soul. And is now looking at the sky, along with crowds of people outside the mall. What happened to Sonata? She sorta.. ran away.

Nothing's happening!
Flash thought, as he clenced his fist and stared angrily at the red sky.
Where are all the meteors?!
He thought again.

"Yo, Flash!" Sonata appeared in the crowd beside him. "Has that magic trick of yours work yet?" She asked the blue-haired possessed boy. "They're not coming down yet! All highschools around here should all be piles of debris right now!" He said.

Crazy lunatic's trying to make the schools go boom boom?
That is low, even for me.
How are people supposed to learn without highschools?
Sonata thought.

Flash, now grew tired of waiting for the spell to work, grabbed Sonata forcefully by the shoulder, bringing her with him inside the mall.

"Hey!" She panicked, as they passed by some people who were looking at the sky trying to know what's going on. One person there was filming with his camera, filming the red sky.. but no meteors included.

Meanwhile.. back to Pierre, now looking out the wide glass window of his condo. "Oh my god." He mumbled. Catching sight of the red-painted sky.
He took out his phone and called a friend. "Hey. Are you seeing this?" He asked the person on the phone. "I know, it's crazy.. I'm actually kinda scared right now.." The person on the phone; who was the one with the rocket in Pierre's team of mercenaries, his name is Donald.

"No more meteors.. but back on Earth, the sky must be red.." AU Sunset looked down on Earth below her, "I got to find a way to make all the red spice dissappear out of those clouds." She said.

Sunset flew fast back down to Earth, and eventually landing on a roof of a building. Then she looked at the red sky, "Hmm.. those clouds look salty.." She went and called the person she was talking on her watch earlier.

"Hey Twilight, the sky's still red. How do I turn it back to white?" She asked. "You don't need to do anything for it to change back. It'll change back to white in a few minutes." AU Twilight answered. "Oh. So I just wait now?" Sunset asked. "Definitely. And after the sky's white again, you can go back if you want." AU Twilight said, then hang up.

"Alright. Objective.. or uhh mission successful!" Sunset cheered. Raising both hands high, "Sunset, you're trully the MVP!" She told herself.

"So.. this is a universe where I never met them, huh?" She said, watching the view of the city from above.
Not knowing that her pony-world self was the one who met them here instead of her.

"I wonder if the pony world thing is true.." She wondered. Was told that there is a pony dimension in this universe.
