Loving and Leaving Him

Chapter 4

"Lacey! Where have you been?!" June was speed walking towards me as stupid as it looked running wasn't considered lady like. He red hair was pulled tightly into a bun it looked like it hurt. She pressed in the ear piece she was wearing. 

"I found her call off the guards." June gave me a disappointed look and started to smooth out my dress. She turned me around and lead me to my family who were all in a line with Timothy in front. The doors to the towns square opened and we walked out two by two. First was Father and Timothy then mother and I behind us was Marlee and Mallory and in the back was Tucker and Amelia. We walked onto the very decorated stage and took our seats. Our royal guests were sitting in a special room to the side of the stage the adults were drinking expensive champagne and the children all had various toys in front of them. 

"I king Tuskan Gillia step down to let my first born son Timothy Maxinos Gillia claim the throne. I dub thee king of Gillia. Long live king Timothy!" Father was about to finish dubbing Timothy. 

"Run he's got a gun!" A woman screamed from the crowd. Bang bang I looked at my mother in panic she ordered me to take Marlee and Mallory's hands I did. The royal wives lead their children out of the room the men went to fight. Large black planes flew above us I knew who that was it was the Sky Riders. I looked to see Ryan leading the guards into battle he gave me a look then I was rushed away. 

Amelia got hit in the head with a rock mother had to carry her. Many died in clouding princess Kimberly Carbon. A month of wars went by until the Sky Riders officially conquered the entire world it wasn't that hard since there was a group of rebels in each continent and we only had four of those. After the last war ended Tex lead and founder of the Sky Riders came in power. He took pity on us and banded us to the no mans land were we had to build our homes and start a new life. I had to teach the young children and babysit while mother, father and the other kings and Queens built buildings and established rules. 

By the end of the year we all had a small farm house and another school house. The supplies came from the city whenever mother, Mrs. Van Hall, Mrs. Chang or Mrs. Carbon could spare a moment. The chosen person would go to the city market in disguise and fetch any supplies needed.

"I call this meeting to order!" Father sat in front of everyone beside him was King Van Hall and on his right was King Carbon King Chang was behind him. This was a routine weekly meeting father had created.

"First I would like to congratulate my daughter Marlee on scoring the highest on in her class on the latest math test. Next Tex has moved his guards in more so I want everyone inside at ten o'clock no later. Finally the supplier is Lacey this week, darling come see me for instructions." I stared at my dad in disbelief I was going into town I hadn't even seen the town in two years and I was going to see Ryan. 

"Lacey you are going to wear this disguise okay? And make sure you use a fake name." It was almost dark and I had a lot of walking to do if I wanted to make it to the city in time. My father handed me a fake passport and a disguise he kissed me good bye and wished me luck. Mother was crying and also said a teary good bye. 

I was off to see my old life to see my fiancée to see Ryan.
