I woke up to the sound of my alarm blasting One Thing. I groaned and hit it to turn it off.
“Another year of hell.” I thought as I rolled out of bed. You see, I wasn’t a popular kid. Honestly, I was made fun of a lot. It wasn’t my fault I just didn’t fit in. This year I was gonna try and be normal but the whole mystery girl thing kind of ruined that. I reached for my phone as I stumbled into the bathroom connected to my room. I turned on the shower as I scrolled through my new text messages. Most of them were from twitter. I stopped at one though.
“She’s the most beautiful girl in the world. I just wish I could see her one more time. </3” Harry tweeted it about an hour ago. He couldn’t be talking about me. I knew I shouldn’t think he is but deep down, I think every person who read that tweet knew it was about me.
After I showered, I blew my hair dry. My hair was naturally curly and super thick and frizzy but thankfully my straightener always came to the rescue on this one. I straightened my hair then started to apply my makeup.
First I put on my foundation, I never used concealer because acne was never much of a problem after I started using Proactiv about a year ago. I then put on a bit of blush, mascara, light pink eyeshadow, and a thin line of liquid eye liner.
I looked in the mirror for a second. My reflection starred back at me. I looked into my blue jean colored eyes and sighed. Harry was going to find me and I guess I should start to except that. I just hope the kids at school don’t mention anything about it.
I walked into my room to get dressed. I put on blue jeggings and a shirt with a skull on it. Before you ask, no I’m not goth the shirt just looked cool. I put on my key necklace that Katie got me a couple years back, my rubber bracelets and some sparkly earring. I was ready to go to school.
I walked downstairs to see all my siblings there except Bobby and Jenna, who both weren’t in school anymore.
“Good morning!” My mom smiled handing me a cup of coffee and pointing to the TV. “They’re talking about you.” I looked over and groaned.
“Harry has officially found the mystery girl. Sources are telling us he’s still trying to get to see her again, although, they don’t think he wants to see her just one more time. He even tweeted this morning about a ‘girl’. We are all still wondering if it’s her and who she is. Now tell us your intake on this at TMZ.com With TMZ I am Kelly Berning signing off. The show cut to a commercial. This is still going on. I’m bound to hear about it at school.
“Which one of you is driving her to school?” My mom said pointing to me and looking at Tyler and Jackson.
“I will.” Jackson volunteered raising his hand.
“Well you better get going you don’t want to be late.” My mom said. We walked outside and to his car. I sat on the passenger side and he started the car.
“Shit’s gonna be serious at school today. How many people are you expecting to ask you about it?” He joked.
“I’m hoping zero but we all know at least one person will say something.”
“There’s always that one person. Are your friends in any of your classes?” He knew the last thing I wanted to talk about was the Harry issue.
“Yeah we all have personal finance together during fourth black.”
“Oh man, last block of the day becomes a party. You guys gonna cause any trouble?”
“Jackson, we never cause trouble. You know that.”
“There’s a first for everything, mystery girl.” We pulled up to the school and he parked. He looked at me with sympathetic eyes. “You ready?” I paused for a moment.
