I DON'T OWN THE ARTWORK!
Nick handed Judy here cup of carrot coffee. She drank the exact same coffee, everyday. Honestly he hated the stuff. He preferred black coffee with a blueberry muffin. Judy sipped at her coffee, her grey ears wiggling around in excitement, it was a new day, and a new chance to make the world a better place.
Nick slurped at his coffee, watching his partner. Lately, their morning routine had become hell for him. Each day he fell more in love with her, and each day there wasn't a thing he could do about it. He was a fox, she was a bunny, and even if she did love him back, it was frowned upon.
A drop of coffee splashed upwards onto her berry pink nose. "Sweet cheese and crackers!" She scowled. "That burns."
"Oh, really fluff? It's only scalding hot coffee." He teased, rubbing the pad of one of his fingers over the burn.
Chief Bogo thunders in. "Everybody sit down and shut up! We have our work cut out for us. Today, four children have been abducted. It is important we find them as swiftly as possible."
Children? Abducted? Judy's heart throbbed for the children, and their frightened parents.
"Officer's Wolfsburg, Fangson, Grubber, and Stomps, you take Tundratown where Calvin Hobbs was last seen."
The wolf, polar bear, warthog, and elephant collected the little red folder and left on assignment.
"Officers's Tusker, Brownsby, and Skipper, you take the Rainforest district where Ginger Hunts was last seen."
The elephant, Hippo, and antelope collected their little red folder and left.
"Officer's Hudge, Bounds, and Tad, you take Saharra square where Alex Clawstein was last seen."
Collecting their assignment, the Camel, Wolf, and Rhino left.
Judy and Nick sat up straighter.
"Finally, Officer's Wilde and Hopps, you report to the Cozy Critter's Apartment complex in the city where Silver Wise was last seen."
Nick took the folder from Bogo, and cracked it open. His heart sank. Silver Wise, was a fox kit, with unusually grey fur and light green eyes.
Bogo assigned them this child on purpose. He knew it would give Nick incentive to work full force. Rage pricked at him, this could very easily be his child, or a friends child. He knew then, that whoever took Silver, was going to pay severely.
