I walk up the stairs to the floor of the new apartment I'll be living in, holding a cardboard box with my earbuds inside my ears and my phone in my pocket playing FOB "I Don't Care". Finally, I reach my apartment door and put the cardboard box down slightly infront of the door next to mine. I grab my keys from my other pocket and jiggle the key inside the hole, it doesn't open. I back up a few steps and run into the door. It still doesn't open... I rub my shoulder and then hear a chuckle, "Need some help?" I turn to my left and see a tall dude with brown curly hair leaning against his door frame. I nod and the strange guy walks over to me and fiddles with the door for a few seconds before opening the door, "Just fiddle with the doorknob for a few minutes and it should open." He said. I reply, "Thank you." The guy then looks down at my phone and smirks,"Nice music, Fall Out Boy is very nostalgic for me." I turn my head slightly and the guy points at my ear buds, somehow they were unplugged which meant everyone could hear the music that was playing from my phone. I smile and laugh to cover up my attempt not to cry from embarrassment, "HAHAHA YEAH! WELL UM, I GOTTA GO NOW SO BYE!" I said and carried my box into my apartment complex and slam the door. I lean on the door and slide down it, sit down and contemplate life.
