Chapter 3

"And you thought they didn't even know you existed.', Carter said. While I was walking to could hear David's comment about Sam's parked car. "That car's about as old as that hat.." said David the jerk. As soon as he said that I stopped walking and turned towards the popular kids.

"And David, your ego is as big as your ears.", said Jasmine. Everyone except for David laughed and that really bruised his confidence with his friends. "Yeah yeah who asked you anyway Tutor Girl? Haha get it? 'Tutor Girl", he said but kept quiet when no one was laughing at his bad joke. "Aw not so tough when someone picks on you huh Dumbo?, she said. That made both the popular kids and Sam and Carter laugh. "You should be careful on how you treat people...all of you. You never know, you guys might end up washing their nice cars in the future.", I said pointing back to Sam and Carter in the car. I looked at all the cool kids and stopped when I looked at Ryan. He was SOOOOOO HANDSOME!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if it was me or it was the sun blinding me through my shades, but I noticed how he had a small smile. "Come on guys let's go", Jasmine says to Sam and Carter then they follow.  While she was walking away Ryan was still admiring her and her body. As Shelby was talking to her girls and David, Austin came to Ryan and whispered " You still have a thing for her huh?, he asked.

The three friends walk away and bump into Terry, the nerd from another planet, Carter's words not mine. But I would agree with Sam about him being a nice guy. "Greetings. Samantha, you look absolutely stunning today, as per usual. And you as well Miss Jasmine.", said Terry. Both of the girls thanked him as they were adored by his sweet personality. His gadget in his pocket started to ring. "Oh if you excuse me. I must get back to my galaxy now", said Terry. We watch him "communicate" with his homemade gadget. "Poor guy', Carter commented. Jasmine smacked him in the arm and caused him pain, 'Hey stop it, Carter". "Yeah at least he's happy', Sam defends.

"Happy? The guy lives in another world', Carter replied. ", Carter said. "Imagine what people say about you', I said mimicking Carter. Due to my comment, Carter rolled his eyes at me while bumping into my shoulder while I laughed at him. "Sometimes fantasy is better than reality, Carter' Sam said. Her cellphone rang with her text message ringtone. Which could only mean one thing.... Mr. Nomad. Sam talks to us about him all the time and I'm really happy for her. There's someone that out there that can make her happy just by a simple text.

"Speaking of fantasy', our theatrical friend stated causing Sam to blush. "I'll see you guys later', she said while leaving us. We all said our goodbyes and heading into different directions. As I was heading to AP English I was tapped on my shoulder, I turned and was shocked to see who it was. "R-Ryan?', I paused to clear my throat and fix myself without him noticing...hopefully. "Uh what's up?', I asked. " I just wanted to apologize, you know for how I acted in the parking lot this morning. And how impressed I was by you actually', he said slightly smiling at me.

" 'Impressed'? Why would you be impressed by me", I asked. He shrugs his shoulders and smiles while rubbing the back of his neck nervously, "I don't know. I mean- It's just... You're not afraid of liking and doing things because you're a girl. And you're not like all the other cheerleaders, you're nice and you treat everyone the same. Well except for David". His last comment made them both chuckle a little. " That's because David's full of himself and he thinks he can bully people. And besides its better treat others how you want to be treated, also there's nothing wrong with spreading kindness.' she says. " He looks at her amazed," you really are not like most girls". Jasmine had to turn her head in another direction in order to hide her reddened face from Ryan's comment.

To her it was like the old Ryan was coming out, the Ryan she like the most. For Ryan, he always enjoyed having these moments with Jasmine, because he was his true self and it was never boring with her. She was original, unique, and special in her own way. Now this has once again showed him that she was the girl he was looking for. Just they way they were both feeling about each other inside, then all of their inner questions would be answered. All Ryan wanted to do was just grab her face and kiss her, and Jasmine was waiting for him to realize that she has huge feelings for him.
