It was the first time that Gabriel wasn't there.

In fact, the whole dream was entirely different. The main thing was that I was floating in darkness anymore, but was instead being tugged around. It was suffocating to do anything, and it didn't take me long to realize where I was.

Underwater.

I was struggling against the water, but it was going everywhere, yanking me in all direction until I had no idea what was up, down, or any side.

Help me! I tried to scream, but nothing came out.

There was no one there.

I was alone.

Last Day

"Hey," a voice called out to me in a seductive whisper. "Wakey, wakey, Amir, my dear."

It tried to turn away from the disturbance, but was unable to due to something attached to my wrist. The clank of metal snapped me awake, and my eyes opened to see Lucas.

"Lucifer," I hissed as I tried to move away, but once again I was restrained.

I started to panic as soon that I realize that I couldn't move.

"Calm down, calm down," Lucas purred as he grabbed my chin, forcing me to look at rather than anything else. My head was spinning. Where was I? Where was Jack? What was happening?

Lucas looked away for a moment, his eyes laced with pain and anger for only a brief moment. "I'm afraid that this game needs to be cut shorter than I had expected, as another one is about to start shortly so, one final game to end it all," He paused for a moment. "That had been the plan, anyway, but I do have to go now, so for a goodbye present, our farewell for now, I've planned a little something for you.

"What?" I growled. "What sick, twisted plan do you have in store for me, huh?" I felt as is I was on fire. "Do your worst, you asshole!"

He smiled deviously. "I'm glad you're so enthusiastic about it, but it's already done."

"What?"

"Look at your hand."

I slowly turned my gaze and was horrified at the sight.

My fingers...

I had all my fingers...

But...

"Like them?" Lucas placed a kiss on my forehead. "I did it myself to me as well. Now we both have a little something of each other to get through our day."

"Oh god..." I felt sick to my stomach. My middle finger was stitched onto my old bloody stump, but it was slightly too big and a lot paler than the others, with black nail polish on the nail. Lucas flashed his hand to show...

Mine finger...

I felt like throwing up.

Another kiss. "I'm afraid I must go," he whispered in my ear before licking it seductively. "But I'll see you soon, and that's a promise.

He then stood up and grabbed his luggage before swinging it over his shoulder. "Jack should be breaking in soon since the last game has started, and then the two of you can enjoy it to the fullest." He waved. "Buh bye, darling~"

And with those words, he left me alone.

I was still staring at my hand at the time as I tried to grasp the concept. It was so foul, so disgusting, that I wanted to bite it off. I was already sure that, if the restraints allowed me to, then I definitely would have.

I had been chained to Lucas's old bed in his room. The windows were opened, showing the gloomy day. Waves crashed upon each other and the wind howl, which only gave the situation a darker theme.

The game had begun? What was it? The only people left, besides Lucas, was me, Rima, Jack, and his fake sister. And Lucas had said that Jack was gonna save me?

Of course...

I shook my head, those thoughts leaving with it. I had no time to sulk around and instead needed to think of possible situations. It was the last game, so were they going to kill us all?

No, Lucas had specifically said that we would meet again, so I was sure that he meant that I was going to live.

But I wasn't so sure about the others.

I was still deep in thought when the door suddenly burst open, and a figure ran forward. For a minute, I wasn't even sure who it was. The person was covered in dirt, sweat, and so much blood. They were heaving and gasping, and looked as if they were going to pass out.

"Jack?" I whispered.

He nodded and took out a machete.

"Come on," he said in a raspy voice before slamming it down on my bracelet. "We need to get out of here."

"What's happening," I asked while rubbing my wrists. It took a lot for me not to look down at them.

He gave me a dark look. "The final game is on. Rima has gone to the other side, and my sis has already been hunted."

"Hunted?"

He grabbed on to both of my hands and yanked me forward. "The final game is the hunt, and they won't stop until I'm dead and you're captured, princess."
