The Captain's quarters were bigger than I had imagine. It was even bigger than the most rich people's room, such as my dad's. There was a chandelier, a sofa, beds, plants, and even a chocolate fountain. I could help but look over at it, since I hadn't ate any food all day.
I bit my lips, causing them to bleed.
Lucifer was still holding onto my hand, and when I tried to pulled back, he would only hold on tighter. An icy grip from a frozen hand.
It made my skin cold, and I even saw it change in color. It wasn't comforting, but more unsettling.
"Lucas..." I whispered. "Please...you're hurting me..."
He loosened his group on me, but looked into my eyes with a glare. "Please stop calling me by that name."
"But-!" I stopped. "Why...why did you lie?"
A sudden burst of fury went through me. "Why did you kill a baby?! You're a monster!"
Lucifer turned to me, a cold smirk twisting on his face. "That's right. I am a monster, but then again, so are you." He took a step towards me, and I took a step back. "Don't tell me you had already forgotten about your dear mother, have you? You decided your life over hers. You could have saved her, but you made the decision to let her die. You killed her. You're a monster."
As he continued to walk towards me, I walked back until I hit the wall.
"N-no..." I whispered. "I'm not."
"And she's not the only one, is she? I bet that you see so many deaths in the city. I bet you've imagined killing your father over and over after what he did, and I don't blame you."
He suddenly grabbed my arms and pulled me towards him, entrapping me in his embrace with his arms.
"The human race is disgusting," he whispered. "They litter this earth with their trash while remaining on the top of the food chain, killing for the pleasure. How many did you dad said that he killed? Two? Two lives? And for what? To become more powerful? For his own twisted desires? Did he kill them because they were defected? Because they were useless to him?"
"Y-you killed to. Over two hundred!" I growled, trying to pull away. He simply just spun me around, like a dance.
"And for good reason, but that'll be shown in good time," he continued to dance with me. With each move that I used to try to get away from it only helped him follow up on the next step. Even when I stopped, he took that opportunity to pick me up and spin me around.
"What do you mean?" I asked. "Why do you keep doing all of my questions?"
"That's part of plan, darling," he paused for a moment. "Have you ever Heard of the Blood Festival."
I froze.
"No," I replied, pulling myself together. To be honest, I was a complete wreck in the first place, but I still needed to be strong, to protect them. I needed to figure this out. No matter how defected and useless I was, I just had to. "Why do you ask?"
"I actually haven't visited the place, either," he said lightly. "But I heard that it's beautiful. It even had a church, but I heard that it was burned down."
"By who?"
"Don't know, after all, haven't been there," He shrugged. "But that's where the first game occurred, and it's been complete. This game is almost complete, too. Soon."
His eyes became dark. "Very soon, indeed." He said before kicking behind my feet and sent me flying back while catching me, with me in his arms leaning back and him inches from my face. He icy breath blew gently against my face.
"You bastard," I said through gritted teeth. I can't believe I was so stupid to believe this guy! He played me so easily. I told him everything, trusted him, and he-
Lucas smirked. "If only you really knew." He replied before leaning in.
I struggled against him, but he was too strong. His frozen lips pressed up against mine, sending shivers down my spine. I tried to back away, but he held my head in place. God, just how strong was he?!
After a few more moments, he pulled away and gave me a lustful look.
"Now, Amir~" he purred. "Let's head to bed, shall we?"

"So, how can we communicate, anyways?" I asked. It was strange that the thought had only just occurred to me. If this was a real person, then how can we communicate?
Gabriel spoke carefully. "As you had probably figured out, Azeroth and Azrael are not humans. They're demons. There are also angels, such as Alice, who can come to earth for periods of time. You can tell the difference by the temperature of their skin. Both are ice cold.
"But they can do other things as well. I haven't seen many myself, but I know that their eyes are strange compared to a human. Azeroth's are like pools of darkness and Azrael's is similar to ice. They aren't...human eyes, if you know what I mean."
I did. "But what does this have to do with us?"
Gabriel seemed hesitant. "That's...something that I haven't figured out yet. What I do know is that they're doing all of this to find you, and you alone. If they figure out who you are, they will kill everyone else on the boat, since they are useless to them. You're the one they want," He paused for a moment before adding. "And if they had grown an emotional attachment to you, then it means that they're pretty sure that they're close."
A shiver ran down my spine. "They have."
"Then we don't have much time."
I nodded to myself, but my mind was occupied. It was the first time in a while since I was able to think to myself. Right away emotion washed over me. One of betrayal and sadness.
"By the way," Gabriel interrupted my thoughts. That's right, I had no time to be sad. "I'm not sure about the demons, but Alice had the ability to manipulate emotions. He could make an angry person relaxed, and a sad person happy. Things like that. He was also able to manipulate dreams too. Was able to conjure up your happiest memory, and replay it like a record. It...had helped me once, after she died."
By she, he meant Abby. It didn't take a scientist to figure it out. You can hear it in his voice.
"I'm sorry," I whispered.
"Don't be, It isn't your fault at all," Gabriel replied. "Just make sure not to make the same mistakes that I did."
Awaken.
