"I know where we are," Matt said as he walked with rabids in the forest and a few jumped down from the trees.

"Keep heading east and there's going to be a marking of our symbol so we'd know how to get back," he explained as Allura walked over to him and Lotor.

"Is it near the prison?" Allura asked.

"Mostly, but I know how to get there," Matt smiled at her and Lotor glared at the blush on the soldiers face.

"So what's the plan then?" Ezor skipped over as Acxa and a larger woman that was all muscles, Zethrid, followed.

"Not a lot of us can go in if we don't want to be caught," Matt explained.

"So what do we do then?" Ezor whined.

"Is it possible to keep your kind in the sanctuary?" Lotor asked with his arms crossed.

"Like lock us in? Our air supplies with last another hundred years but..." Matt looked down.

"If I help you will you help me?" He looked at the two leaders. They nodded.

"Let me take some of my friends and family up, and I'll help you keep the garrisons under ground," he sighed.

"Deal, how many?" Allura asked.

"Three, three people I care about," Matt smiled softly.

"Your sister and parents?" Axca raised an eye brow.

"My sister and two friends, my parents passed away," he pursed his lips.

"My father was taken by your people a long time ago, I don't think you'd keep him alive, my mother died of an illness," Matt explained.

"I apologize, you are probably correct, we don't keep many prisoners if we don't find them useful," Lotor nodded.

"It's okay, it was a long time ago, his name was Samuel holt," Matt shrugged.

"My father, he had him as prisoner," Lotor perked up with wide eyes.

"Wait what?"

"He may be alive,"

Matt had tears in his eyes of shock and a smile grew on his face.

"Oh my god, no fucking way," Matt laughed softly.

"When we get our family back together we will get yours," Allura put a hand on his shoulder and Matt nodded smiling.

"My people are so wrong about you guys, we're the monsters, not you," Matt sighed biting his bottom lip.

"Monsters are made, not born, you are not a monster if you come from that place on a mission, your the monster if your commanding that mission," Lotor explained and he nodded.

"Thank you both so much," Matt laughed a little.

"And I thank you, now let's get Lance back and then your sister and friends,"

"So how are you holding up?" Shiro asked Pidge as she's been staying with him and Keith last few days.

"I'm okay," she whispered. "I'm still here aren't I?"

"I miss him too Katie," Shiro said gently and she looked down as tears brimmed her eyes.

"It doesn't seem real Shiro, I can't believe he's really gone," her voice cracked and Shiro set a hand on her shoulder.

"I know kid, I never even saw him, I thought he was right behind me when we retreated," Shiro looked down in guilt.

"It's not your fault,"

"It should be, I should've had his back,"

"But you still have us, your not completely alone," he told her and Pidge sniffled.

"Where's Keith?" She asked changing the subject.

"I'm not sure," Shiro thought about the small fight he and Keith had, was he really with that rabid? After everything? It taking Matt, killing so many of their own.

"I'll go look for him, you just rest, your dehydrated," Shiro stood up and she nodded laying on the couch as Shiro walked out and went to the prison sector and found himself at R-48.

He walked in and saw it was empty but heard something under him only to find a secret cellar under the cell. He crawled down and saw Keith with the rabid prisoner as they where talking but they stopped seeing Shiro.

"Shit," they all said.

"Shiro what are you doing down here?" Keith hissed.

"Keith what the hell did I say? They're dangerous," Shiro looked at Lance who stayed silent but his teeth sucked in his tan bottom lip.

"He's not dangerous," Keith fought back.

"Keith get back to the dorm now, before your caught," Shiro reached out but Keith slapped his hand away.

"I'm fine, Lance isn't going to hurt me, he's hurt and chained up like some animal," Keith spat.

"He is an animal!"

"Keith just go, I'll be fine," Lance croaked and Shiro jumped at the sound of his pained voice.

"He's human Shiro, he's eighteen!" Keith ignored him.

"He's a killer!" Shiro remembered Matt.

"So are you!" Keith cried out but covered his mouth.

"How many of them have you killed?" He gulped and Shiro was in shock of his younger brother.

"Keith stop please," Lance pleaded with his head down and Keith paused.

He looked at Lance in pity as emotions swarmed his chest but also tugged at him to follow Shiro, his brother... But also to stay with this stranger.

"Pidge needs us right now," Shiro pulled him out of his thoughts and Keith closed his eyes.

"And Lance needs me right now," Keith looked at him with his indigo eyes.

Shiro stayed silent and climbed up the ladder and left the two boys alone.

"I'm sorry, don't.. Don't loose your brother because of me, Keith just go," Lance breathed softly and Keith started cleaning his wounds around his wrist.

"No one else is going to die Lance, including you, Pidge needs support right now but you need to keep breathing," Keith told him sternly and Lance whimpered when the cloth touched his raw flesh.

Lance cried out clenching his fist as tears raced down his face in pain of the touch to his flesh but Keith whispered to him kindly touching his arm gently.

"Just kill me, I rather die then be here any longer," Lance sobbed as Keith pulled away sadly.

"It's... Not so bad when you get use to it," Keith tried.

"What? The toreture or the concealing of nothing down here, there's no fresh air, no warmth, now natural sounds, what the hell," Lance bowed his head down.

"Just let me go, please!" Lance cried but Keith ripped away his rag around his eyes quickly before Shiro could stop him.

Bright blue eyes collided with dark indigo ones in front of him as Keith was overwhelmed by the beauty of the eyes he's never seen before.

"Your so fucking pale," Lance coughed weakly.
