"How am I going to make dinner dressed like this?" I said motioning to my revealing outfit.

"You could change into a pair of my sweatpants or I can give you an apron."

"I think I have a pair of shorts in my clutch, could I borrow a t-shirt? Just to make dinner."

"Of course, let me go grab it." Brendan walked out of the room and I looked around for my clutch. I had realized that I had left it in the car and saw Brendan walking back into the room.

"So, about those shorts. I'll be back in a second, I left my bag in the car."

"If you want shorts, I can just give you a pair of my boxers or a pair of sweatpants, it's not that big of a deal."

"Oh," I said blushing slightly. "Sure, whatever is easier for you."

"This is about your comfort, not mine, what would you prefer."

"To be honest, it is a bit warm in here," I said shyly looking away.

"Boxers it is," he said as threw me his shirt on the way out. I caught it and saw that it was just a plain, white t-shirt.

He walked back in not too long after and gave me the pair of grey boxers and I walked into the bathroom.

I quickly changed and walked out to see that Brendan had already started making dinner. He turned to look at me and smiled.

"You look hot," he laughed and resumed cutting the vegetables.

"I'm sure that you liked me better in that revealing dress," I laughed.

"It doesn't matter what you wear, you looking hot in everything."

"Even a t-shirt and mom jeans?"

"Especially a t-shirt and mom jeans."

"Thank you," I smiled at him. "So what are we making? I told you that I don't eat red meat right?"

"No, you did not but you're still safe because we're making tomato basil salmon."

"Oh my god, that sounds amazing. What do you want me to do?"

"Okay, can you preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit?"

"Of course I can," I say as I walk over the oven and set it to preheat. "Now what?"

"You really want to help don't you?" He laughed as he cut the tomatoes.

"I really do," I smiled as I stood by the oven.

"Okay, get a baking pan from the cabinet right next to the oven and line it with tinfoil then spray it with baking spray."

I did those next few steps quickly and placed it on the counter right next to him.

"Are you on hyper-drive right now or something?" He laughed and nudged me with his elbow.

"No, just hungry. What's next?"

"Okay, I already prepared the salmon so put them onto the baking sheets, sprinkle some basil on top, put the tomatoes, drizzle olive oil, and put some parmesan cheese on top."

"Will do," I said and went to prepare the steps.

"Hey, Athena," Brendan called from the other side of the kitchen. "Do you want some mashed potatoes to go with that?"

"That would be amazing," I said as I finished up preparing the salmon but I checked the oven to see that it was only at 325 degrees. I walked over to Brendan to see him peeling some potatoes as I picked up one and peeled with him.
