{Vic}

When I dropped Kellin off at the brothel, I felt like I was dropping him off at his death site. I hate this. I wish I could help everyone at this place, but Kellin has had the roughest of them all and I want him out of there as quickly as possible. I don't know how the hell I'm gonna come up with the money since I've paid for Jack and Alex out of my own pocket. Jack and Alex said they would help me, but who knows where they're getting the money from? They could be stealing it for all I know.

I checked on him that night to see if he was holding up alright and for some reason Damien wouldn't let me see him. He said he was busy with a late night client, so he turned me away.

The next day came and apparently Damien said sorry, he's booked back to back all day for the next five days straight. I told you he was popular. Once again, I was turned away and couldn't see him. I felt like Damien was lying half the time just so I wouldn't see him, but if he did that, that only means he suspects something between me and Kellin.

After almost two weeks of not seeing Kellin, my heart was burning with fuel and I couldn't take it any longer. I had to see him. I wasn't gonna wait around anymore, knowing he might be hurting inside.

For some strange reason, when I went to open the door for the brothel, it was...locked? Since when did Damien lock the main door for clients to enter through? That was weird. I decided to knock, but there was no answer. I knocked harder. Finally, the door creaked open.

"Fuentes?" Damien said.

"Yeah, it's me. What going on? Why is the door locked?"

"Come in, come in," he hurried me inside. "I saw some stinkin' cops snooping around outside yesterday morning and I've kept the door locked ever since. Can't risk them finding this place, even if it is underground."

He's got a point. It will ruin his "business" he has going on.

"True," I managed to say without suspicion.

"So what can I do for you?"

"Actually, I was wondering when the next auction is."

"It's every month, but technically it's whenever someone has the money up front and wants to buy a slave. Who were you thinking of? Jenna? Andy? I have a new boy named Alan?"

"Kellin," I said quickly.

"Kellin...Kellin is not available. I told you from the beginning that Kellin and Tay are not up for grabs."

"But can't anyone bid on them during the auction?"

"Yes, I just don't expect anyone to bid on them because they're priceless. Well, maybe not Tay, but Kellin..."

I knew this was gonna happen.

"I know you said he's your most prized possession, but I also remember you saying that he's worth 100 grand. If anyone can afford him, then?"

"I guess. To me, he's more than that. He is this business. If I lose him, I don't know what I'll do. He can't be purchased. I won't allow him to be purchased."

"Even if I come up with the money, you won't let me buy him, knowing it's me who'll make sure he's in good hands?"

"Absolutely not. I'm taking him off the market," Damien uttered.

"What?! No, you can't do that!" I screamed, but that was the worst thing I could've done just now.

"Excuse me? Who the hell are you to tell me, Damien, what I can and can't do?! He's off the market and that's final!"

"Let me see him," I begged.

"He's with someone right now," Damien said.

"I don't care. I need to see him!" I walked away from him and started for Kellin's room.
