I haven't told my friends that I'm moving tomorrow. I don't know how I'm going to tell them. So today I asked them to meet me at the park. A text from Jason.
Jay: Can we please meet tomorrow because there's a family gathering at home today.
I reply to his text.
Me: Of course. I'll inform the girls.
I call Amber. She is one of my friends. She has a nice body, she's fit, brown hair, light skin, blue eyes and she wears glasses.
Me: Can we postpone for tomorrow? Jay can't make it today.
Amber: Sure. I'll get some things for the picnic
Me: Okay. I'll call Diana and tell her as well.
Amber: Okay see you tomorrow.
She laughs.
Me:okay bye.
I hang up. I dial Diana's number and as I am about to call her the door bell rings. I open it and its Diana. "Hey. I was about to call you." I say as I welcome her in. "What for?" She asks. "We are postponing the picnic to tomorrow." I say. "That gives me enough time with you." She says. She sounds like she knows that I'm moving tomorrow evening. " Okay." That's all I can say. "Is your mom home?" She asks looking around. "Yep she's in the kitchen." I respond.
She walks in the direction of the kitchen. She has been here before so she knows where to go. I'm going to miss this. " Mrs Brown, can I have some time with Raven please?" She pleads as we reach my mom. My mom looks at her and then at me. "You don't have to ask. She's all yours." Mom responds. "Yay!" She squeals. "Thanks a lot Mrs Brown." She hugs my mom and we leave the kitchen. "Don't out til late!" Mom shouts from the kitchen.
We leave the house and enter her car. Yes she has a car. She has a mini cooper. Its black, small and cute. I love it. "So where are we going?" I ask. "Somewhere." She responds not looking at me. Her eyes are glued to the road. "So you not telling?" I ask. She just shakes her head.

After a thirty minute drive we arrive at the mall. "Oh, we are going to shop?" I say in a way that I sound like I am asking. She nods. We exit the car. We wall in the direction of the entrance"Take anything you like, its my treat." She says as we enter one of my favorite shops.
I nod and look around. I take two pairs of jeans, one white and the other black, a white shirt and a pink T-shirt with the words ' boyfriend? What boyfriend?' On it and a pair of sneakers. She has a dress in her hand. We are the same size, I hope the dress isn't for me because I have taken a lot of clothes already. The dress looks like its mid-thigh long. It's red, strapless and its cute. I like it. She pays for the goods and we leave the shop.
"You want ice cream?" I ask her. She nods and we walk to the ice cream shop. It isn't far from the shop we were at. "Hey Danny." I greet. "Hey" he greets back. Danny is almost like a friend to me.
I've known him since I was little. He would come to my house and we would play together. He has always been two years older than me. But he treats me like we are the same age. Now he works at an ice cream shop, so that he can pay for his fees. And take care if his mom."Can I please have two bar one ice cream cones?" I order the usual.
He looks at me and smiles "The usual." He says as he makes my order. "You know it." I say as I take some money out of my pocket. I give him the money and he gives me the cones. "Here you go." He gives me my change. "Thanks."Diana and I say in unison. I smile. We say goodbye and leave the mall.
"Thanks Dee, I needed this." I say we reach the car. I put the things in the trunk and enter the car. She drives off. We sit in comfortable silence. We arrive at my home."Thanks again." I say as I exit the car. She just smiles. I wave bye and enter the house as she drives away. Dad, Melisa and Kayla are watching television. Mel is six and Kay is seven.
They were excited when mom told them that we are moving. I don't want to move because all my life I've living here. My friends and life is here. But for my moms sake I'm going to move. I show them the clothes that Dee bought for me. "Wow your friends really love you." Mom says. I smile. "These are cute." Mel says. I smile and nod. "Raven, go put those away and come and help tour sisters set the table." Mom orders us.
I put the things in my room and I charge my phone. I head downstairs, I help my sisters set the table. "Raven, mom made lasagne with roasted chicken and Greek salad." Kay informs me. "Yum, my favorite." I respond honestly. I love Italian food and my mom makes the best.
"So have you told your friends that you are moving tomorrow?" Mom asks as we eat out food. I shake my head because I have food in my mouth. "I'll tell them tomorrow. Well be having a picnic." I inform her. "I'll look after the girls, you go have fun." Dad says from my side. Mom looks at him. "What?!" He asks. She just shakes her head and continues to eat. Mel and Kay giggle.
Mom and I clear the table once everyone was dine eating. "So you not going to be here tomorrow?" She asks. I roll my eyes. "Yes mom." I respond in a duh tone. She gives me the 'don't start with me' look. "Goodnight mom." I kiss her cheek and head to my room.

08:00!! I wake up. Its my last day in Killarney Bay. "Raven!!" Mel and Kay come in my room. "What?!" I ask annoyed. "We are moving today." Mel says. "Oh that." I say not caring. Kay is quiet, she is just looking at me. "Mom isn't home and dad is watching television." Kay informs me. "She'll be back after lunch" I respond. They leave my room. I make the bed and take a shower. I walk in my closet. I take a pair of white jeans and a plain white T-shirt out and my black and white vans.
I straighten my hair and it looks good. I head down stairs. "Dad you didn't make breakfast?" I whine like a three year old. He chuckles. " I'm not hungry yet." I make blueberry pancakes. Kay comes running into the kitchen. "Yay!" She squeals. "They're almost ready." I say with a smile. She takes out two plates and two glasses. I put two pancakes on her and one on mine. I leave some in the pan for dad and Mel.
"Hmm" She moans. I giggle. I just love this seven year old girl. I put my dishes in the sink. "Kay, when you're done, put your dishes in the sink." I say as I leave the kitchen. She nods.

My phone rings and it's Dee.
D: I'm almost at your house, so get ready. Amber went to get some stuff from the mall.
R: okay, Dee. Where's Jay?
D: He's gone with Amber. They're driving together
R: Okay see you soon bitvh
"Dad, Dee is on her way here." I inform him. "Okay, have fun." He responds not taking his off the television. "Oh before you leave, there's some money for you on the counter near the door." He says. "Thanks dad." I respond as I take the money and out it in my pocket. BEEP! Message from Dee.
D: I'm outside. Bitvh.
"Bye dad." I leave the house. Its not cold nor is it hot. Dee has a red floral dress on, the one she bought yesterday, with white sandals.
